| THE ONE PIECE ...... IS REAL! Officially my favorite episode in all of One Piece. Only sucky thing was how there were no swords in Whitebeard's body, but all is forgiven just because this episode rocked on so many levels. |

Wasn't expecting that part to be "very well done" - seeing 10 people unload all of their bullets with blood splattering on Whitebeard's face almost makes up for the censoring of half of Whitebeard's head blown off. I'd rather it have been the other way around since it would've made his death even more epic (but of course that'd definitely be pushing it). Also glad it ended with the Whitebeard wound numbers and... JusticeGundam said: The declaration of "One Piece exists!" made an awesome impact. I loved the last words of both Ace and WB's; Ace's last words and death left that tearful feeling, and the battle scars of WB's (and the clear back) left a "damn, what a legend" impression.THE ONE PIECE ...... | Episodes this epic always fill me with infinite pity for the people who don't like this show due to length and animation quality or actually believe that naruto or bleach is better... 5/5! (for like the upteempth week in a row) Could have been just a little better if they censored less of Whitebeard's battle wounds : ) |
| Yeah, the animation is surprisingly well done in this episode. The clouds that passed by when Whitebeard was looking up at that one Marineford tower and the water behind him as he paraded down with his nakama. <3 And the last words were truly epic.. |

| Great episode. Although, I'm disappointed with how weak they keep making Whitebeard look in the anime, I understand they need to filler out scenes to keep distance with the manga, but was it really necessary to have Teach block several of Whitebeard's attacks and then use him as a punching bag? The difference between Teach and Whitebeard was supposed to be enormous. The scene where all the Blackbeard Pirates are attacking Whitebeard was really well done though, well done Toei. :) |

| wow. that was amazing. this ep made whitebeard look even more epic than the manga. whitebeards death totally overshadowed ace in the anime too... but damn that was probs the 2nd best ep in all of one piece id say. anything where roger actually talks is godly |

Cause in the ep Blackbeard blocked a bunch of his attacks and got in a few solid hits, but in the manga it pretty much went like "haha you can't use your powers anymo (gets slashed) ahhhhhh!!" considering blackbeards powers, i'd say it isn't impossible to do, in the end he still got slashed and the difference shown (imo) anyways great episode, loved whitebeards declaration that One Piece is real, and the last bit when it showed his back without any wounds. 5/5 |

| Whitebeard was so cool in the episode. And even the flashbacks were interesting! The last line was best in my opinion. A man who never ran away. currently there's no anime airing that can be compared to One Piece v__v |

| Epic episode is epic. Theese last few episodes were beyond amazing. Btw I thought this is gonna cover at least 2 chapters from the manga because there was no recap and this is the longest episode Ive ever seen of One Piece. But they managed to use one chapter again with some extented fighting scenes. Im so glad fillers are so rare in One Piece. But I dont like that they started censoring stuff in the anime. I dont ever remember that they used censoring till now. Whitebeard with his face blown off instead of his mustache and there were Swords in his body at the end.. One Piece rules ! 5/5 |

| Awesome episode!! Although I would have wished they wouldn't have censored (Whitebeard's head) they've animated it really well. I can't say it's the best episode - the reason for this is that One Piece has a lot of best ones for me!! But it's definitely one of my favorites. This is really an epic arc, makes me think I'm really glad I've started watching OP many years ago. Can't wait for the next one. By the way, thanks for the preview. Why don't they actually show them anymore (I know it's been a while like this but I still wonder)? |

| Ah, thanks. Well, nothing can be spoiled for me anymore since manga readers kept talking about Ace's death last year. That's why I gave up and ended up reading it myself ^^ |

| I must say that his death was brutal. Too many gunshots, but he still died standing as a legend. Now onwards with the Mugiwara crew reunion. |

| Overall, this episode was a top 10 favorite for me. How Whitebeard withstand all those slashes and bullets from Blackbeard and his crew was outstanding. A bit different from the manga but the impact of it was great. Now to finish the arc and more on to Sabo. |

| One of the handful of episodes that actually mentions the 'One Piece', despite the title of the show lol. Best episode of the arc...quite comfortably 5/5. |
| Oda always manages to create such complete badass characters. Edward "Whitebeard" Newgate is no different. I love the fact that the man closest to One Piece manages to cause an enormous uproar with his last words. Also pay close attention to Sengoku's reaction. This is going to come back as a HUGE plot point later on in the series |

| The scene where the blackbeard pirates were attacking whitebeard was really well done and the ending was truly the definition of an epic death. |
