| I have still a relative shallow pool to pull from, as I continue to build my repertoire. Until I have a deep understanding of most genres and a breadth of overall knowledge re anime, I'll only remain okay at recommending. I need to watch another 15-20 shows before I feel more comfortable giving advice. |

| Oh! Good question! I believe so. I've gotten a few people to, at the very least, appreciate the medium if they never consumed it before. I remember recommending Love Live Sunshine to my professor and we were able to have wonderful talks about that series. A few friends tend to ask me for something to watch too |
| I haven't watch it yet but i heard it is in same format as yosuga no sora, Amagami ss. Are you fine with love triangle that include 2 girls or it has to more than 2 ? It hurts when someone talk bad about yosuga no sora and that happens a lot, and i gave it a 10. |

| I know I am biased in what anime I watch and like, so I will answer if asked, but I am not good enough to recommend it to others myself. In the meantime, when I recommend anime to others, MAL makes a judgment based on the ani-lists and favorites of the people I recommend. Even if it's something I've dropped or something I haven't seen because I don't like it, if I think it's to the recommender's liking, I'll recommend it. If I don't feel confident in my recommendation, I will be honest about it. I also think that people who recommend only what they like to everyone else, without judging whether it suits the tastes of the person they are recommending, are poor recommenders. |

| If the person has a list I tend to be fairly good at giving recommendations that they like but even without a list as long as they have examples on what they've watched and enjoyed before I tend to be able to give them something they're interested in. I would say maybe 80% success rate. Most of my friends don't watch a ton of anime which means its very easy to give a rec they haven't watched. Generally, if I recommend something from the most recent season I know they haven't watched it cause non of the people I know follow ongoing series. When it comes to people who are new to anime and don't know what they like, I just give recommendations from multiple genres so they can see what interests them the most. If you give multiple choices, something will probably stick. |

| Fine I guess. The only person I've really given anime recs is my best friend IRL and I'd say she liked about 85-90% percent of them. However I can't say for sure how good I would be at giving recs to people I don't know. |
