So that's what happened to Sarasa! Are we getting a monster hiatus after 4 chapters?

So the Phantom Troup was originaly a Theater Troup, huh? Love it!

What a wholesome chapter, but that ending was eerie as fuck. Man I feel so bad for these kids in Meteor City.

The Troup's popularity is gonna skyrocket to new highs after that batch of chapters.

My hunch says Sarasa wll not die or be kidnapped because of them as we say. Togashi is jsut on another level when it comes to refuting our theories especially if they are way too obvious

I feel the upcoming hiatus :(

It's really sweet seeing the Phantom Troupe's early origins together as kids, it just makes it even sadder to know what they become. Even the fact that we're getting this flashback now makes me feel like this arc will see the end of the Phantom Troupe.

We expected the continuation of this backstory and Togashi gave us just that. The name Troupe has been established now we wait to see their descent to the ruthless Phantom Troupe

It's great seeing every young PT members, we even got a look at young Nobu with his silky hair. He was missing last chapter but makes his due appearance. Chrollo was a entertainer from the beginning, huh? His charisma managed to even pull a hard ass like Uvo or un-assuming Machi to his side. They all just wanted to perform for the rest of their lives but it turned out very different from their original trajectory. What could've possibly happened to them for them to eventually turn sour and be where they are now. It has to something with the new former troupe members Shiela and Sarasa.

Sarasa's death seems imminent but is that the only trigger for troupe's divilgence towards evil & tyranny. I doubt it. I think there's something deep rooted trauma we readers probably don't know about and Togashi is slowly but surely revealing it. So, strap yourselves for a possible brutal revelations in next couple of chapters. Overall, an average chapter

So Pakunoda came up with the the "Troupe" part of the name, huh? And they originally started out as voice actors dubbing over lines from episodes of a TV show. Lol at Machi only wanting to be a baddie and refused to be the princess and told Uvogin to play the princess.

I'm loving this flashback so much I almost forget we haven't advanced the plot in like 6 years

It's crazy how innocent and wholesome these characters are... Something awful is surely about to happen.

Looks like Chrollo released his Nen during that villain act, pretty crazy.

I can't believe "Phantom Troupe" is based on their theatre group LOL. Never would have guessed they loved play-making.

It actually makes sense that the name Troupe had to do with theater but damn they were just a bunch of kids who were dubbing TV shows. How did this go so wrong?

Uvo said about becoming the greatest villain but at that point he probably meant fictional and not in a literal sense. I guess what happened to Sarada and that "Meteor City hunt" led to the latter.

this is starting to actually feel like a manga again and not just a cesspool of dialogue. maybe it's a sign it'll return to it's former glory

It is heartbreaking to see how innocent and enthusiastic they used to be in contrast to their current selves. While I totally love this flashback, idk if it's about to raise a death flag for multiple members of the troupe soon ;_;

That being said, I guess we can expect poor Sarasa to get kidnapped in the next chapter.

So that's how they got their name. Damn imagine in another universe/timeline the phantom troupe wasn't a group of criminals but Theater Troupe

Cute chapter. I like that we're actually getting to know why they're called the Phantom "Troupe." It's so random but interesting.

What a wholesome and innocent chapter....until you get to the end and you realize what's probably about to happen.

Oh man, that was messed up. Now i see there was a backstory for their orchestra-like performance back in YorkNew arc. Originally a threatre troupe, this is so brilliant!

Glad we're finally getting a phantom troupe backstory! Interesting that they were originally a theatre troupe. I wonder what will happen with Sarasa... Will Chrollo save her? Will she get kidnapped, causing Chrollo to go after the criminals that took her? I guess we'll find out...

How incredible Chrollo's ability to double characters, by the way a member of the cleaning squad looks like Gon, right?

And how beautiful the relationship that was formed between Chrollo and Uvogin

Amazing chapter as expected of a genius like Togashi. I knew that the phantom troupe bacstory would be interesting but i never expected them to be the most wholesome characters ever lol.

If someone told me "hey, one of future HxH chapters will have the Spiders doing a fandub of a tokusatsu like Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" I would say "Cut the crap", but I guess God really has His own way of having fun twisting the writings of fate.

Truly a masterpiece and one of the greatest manga of all time! Truly blessed to engage in such a wonderful series!

Phantom Troupe Flashback

I finally made it. I've been rereading HxH for over a month and just today read all the recent chapters. Seeing Chrollo and others in the past definitely brought a tear to my eye. Cant wait for more

So they were originally in the dubbing industry, huh? I guess Crunchyroll just didn't treat them well enough...

I teared up a little bit reading this chapter don't ask me why....

They were an innocent bunch back then, the phantom troupe. Though guess deeds like the one we're about to have the next chapter changed them for good.

Great chapter we need more of this because I'm bored of the succession war arc
