Yang destroys the Big Nicholas & gets a flashback into Weiss' life...

Jaune beats down the armoured knight with the buster sword...with some help from the sillies & Pyrrha.

Ruby unleashes her secret power onto the nightmare, crippling Nega-Weiss, but Nega-Blake is still active...

I think this may be the concluding episode...it didn't feel like a drag & covered point-to-point without weird skips either. Definitely my favourite episode in the dream sequence so far. (& watching it all unfold on Japanese TV was the cherry on top)

This is my first ever time posting on a forum...I dunno what to expect below

@Animemes_Enjoyer you're keeping to the rules so it's fine. Just leave it to the veterans who know the rule book, unless you want to risk the softban.

Negative Blake and Weiss going at it against each other while Ruby tries to subdue the Nightmare Grimm. Yang taking down Big Nicholas with a sudden transition into Weiss's flashback, and Jaune and the rest beating the armoured knight, it's a fight fest.

The Nightmare is vanquished, and so is Weiss's inner psyche. But the problem now is Blake being possessed by Jaune's Nightmare, and extraditing it that marks for the very first time, Team RWBY working together, the Void_Chords OST and all that Shaft sakuga making a reappearance since the beginning of the anime to break out of the Ice Queendom dream sequence.

Certainly this felt like a finale episode, so what is there left in the actual finale?

Now I wonder, if Nicholas Schee walked around with and armour, or is just Weiss vision. Walk around with an armour is cool.

Was good to see Team RWBY fighting together after 9 episodes.

Next episode will be great, now that Weiss is more relaxed.

Hiroto Nagata's back! Not the best one, but better than nothing. Screw you, COVID!

This episode finally finished what it started and stretched for too long.
Although, Ruby ending the grimm with her silver eyes as an awakening/deus ex machina wasn't tense at all.
Them teaming up to finish the grimm again and getting out of harms way quickly was no fun to see.
But the director wanted no blood and gore, so it makes sense.

Still a 7/10. Maybe the last one will be fun and hopefully give a hint for season 2.

man this show is bad. it took like 8 episodes to finally get her out of that dream. I cannot remember a 12 episode anime that has had something last so long like this.

They cranked animation to 11 this episode. The season might have started a bit bumpy, but they concluded the fight in the dream in great style. Ice Queendoom was a blast to watch, I think the final episode will be more lighthearted.

It's over. Gotta say, I hate how spineless Negative Weiss was when faced by Negative Blake. She spent the entire season hunting her "friends" and was ready to kill Ruby, but Blake calls her racist and it's like "What!? Me!? Racist!? N-no! It wasn't me, even though I am the one in charge of everything. I can't believe you'd accuse me of racism! You're not the real Blake! Leave me alone!" If anything, she should be more racist. Every time the train gets attacked, she curses the Faunus. She runs the city, and Faunus are forbidden. The same way Blake calls her out for the mistreatment of Faunus, she should fight back with how violent and dangerous the Faunus are. It should make her angrier and prompt her to fight back, not defensive and scared for her image.

I just think that this entire arc came about to early in this series.

The main cast just joined beacon and are already dealing with really complex enemies, whilst also resolving personal issues that I feel would fit a lot better down the line.

It would have been better if the main cast would have gotten some time to fight together and grow on each other before an arc like this.

They just became a team but in this arc it feels like they've been together for years, which just feels off.

Weiss is finally free from the nightmare and as soon as she comes to her senses gets immediately embarrassed. Cute, and very on brand for Weiss.

Some really neat shots this episode. And it was cool seeing team RWBY fight together.

Yeah there was some pretty awesome sequences this episode. They definitely went all out for this action finale of sorts. Surprised by the sneaky reveal of sorts for Ruby's power there. It doesn't happen until S3 of the original and it is a significantly more impactful moment.

Next episode is called best day every. I might be remembering wrong but I feel the first episode of S2 in the original had the same name. Maybe we're going to jump back there for the last episode. Tbh that would be pretty sweet if that one really fun sequence makes it into this version.

Well, it took 11 episodes to finally be really good. So glad the “nightmare” (no pun intended) is over but unfortunately, it looks like so is S1. Too bad it took so long to resemble the original series but at least the Ruby foreshadowing is introduced early.

Finally ! When I first started to watch RWBY, I expected to learn more about the universe, characters, school and other "slice of life" stuff. Turns out most of the show was focused on Weiss' dream and we're eventually out of it.

Now they only have 1 episode to... I don't know what they'll add, probably a casual day around a good meal with some good vibes, I suppose.

Not sure why Ruby's Silver Eyes worked in a dream especially since it's Weiss's dream and she doesn't know about this ability (nor Ruby herself). Maybe because she confronted the Grimm directly?
Also I don't think the witters of this show knew about the White Fang story.

Wtf was that action sequence? It went from some really good cuts to some super choppy unfinished ones in the blink of an eye. Anyway I hope the last episode is a super speed recap of however many more seasons of the original RWBY shitshow there is. Just for a laugh.

Yang's bike sequences and some from the final boss battle seemed really amazing. Also, they finally bothered to use Ruby's eyes. Too bad they never foreshadowed it prior and using it in a climactic battle like that greatly reduces the impact of the battle.

The gang finally saved Weiss AND Blake. So this is where most of the budget went, other than the first 3 episodes. Great animation at the end with amazing soundtrack. That's a very Shaft thing to do. Well, I guess last episode serves as an epilogue or something.

I've been shitting on this anime since the very first episode but finally, this is the only episode I enjoyed from the entire anime, this episode had wonky animation here and there but it had pretty decent animation as well, obviously, all the budget went to this episode, the OST was pretty nice too so yeah, it was a decent episode overall.

Too bad the rest of the episodes was a piece of crap though so my rating won't change but I can finally praise something about this anime. Why on earth did it take this long to get decent? goddamn it. Whatever, 1 more episode to go so I can finally get this crap over with, I praise the things that deserve to be praised so I'm praising this episode, the rest of the episodes are garbage, unfortunately.

now that is what you call a peak. This episode was actually amazing for any kind of standards.

Would have liked it if Jaune wasn't a cornered cat at the end and he was doing something to protect the girls but maybe that is how his character is in the original.

God I missed normal Weiss a lot, she is a lot more funny than negative Weiss lol. Even in japanese, her reaction at the end is really like her, I missed that. I guess last episode will be slice of life stuff, but it's kinda sad that we spent the whole anime on this... The fight this episode was awesome though!

F*cking finally... Ep 11 should've been like ep 5 or 6 to be done and dusted. wasting 8 eps on the dream was just trash. ep 11 animation wise is good but this late, it doesn't even matter anymore. Hopefully next time they think about a more interesting plot points cause this one was a marathon to watch and bad as hell *DEAD*.
