| Here, we've finally gotten to a critical plot point in the manga. That talk between Kazuya and Mizuhara when she tells him she'd just rather continue with the lie, at this point. I'm just a little confused why the 2nd coeur only arrived two years after the first one... Should've made the whole season a full 24 episodes - like Kakkou no Iinazuke, back in 2020. |

| That kiss was way too forced. And, just when things were about to become better. It changed in a blink of an eye when Chizuru's grandma collapsed. But, for now, she's alright but her overall condition is very bad. It makes me sad that Chizuru has no family after her grandma. I want Chizuru to be happy in the end. Poor girl. |

| Attagirl, Ruka keeps scoring. Tell the truth or not.. quite the dilemma. It's not out of the question that granny Sayuri has already picked up on the act Kazuya and Chizuru are putting on or there's at least a slight suspicion. I'd imagine that she's playing along since she can see the real potenial boyfriend in Kazuya or because she trusts that Chizuru can manage on her own. We'll find out in due time. If she doesn't know it would be kinder to tell the truth before her condition becomes even worse, tho. Dropping a bomb on her actual death bed would be fucked up :S Great episode. |

| One thing I do like and respect in Kazuya's character (and in this manga) is his rare and pure unadulterated love for Mizuhara. He loves her in the true sense; acknowledging her as a being other than himself and wishing for her happiness. Others may call it simping and being pathetic, but those are looking for the typical harem mc they've grown used to in this medium. He's not without fault, but I wouldn't readily jump on the massive hate train he's getting everywhere. He's not as bad as everyone paints him to be.  |

The whole part was really intense for me, I was watching it with my breath held, shocked yet again. I did not expect Ruka to go in for another kiss which was even more aggressive than the first one. It really looked like Ruka woudn't have stopped if Kazuya hadn't broken off the kiss, which I'm sure was hard for him to do. Good for him he was able to push her when he clearly liked the kiss. I think it's safe to assume Ruka's heart rate during and after the kiss went way over 100. It sounded like her heart was screaming with happiness. They both were blushing HARD after coming to the living room as expected. Kazuya's thought process post-kiss was something I didn't expect from his character. He was thoughtful and prioritized Ruka and Chizuru over saving his own ass. If not for the phone call he really would have ended up spilling the beans. I'm happy for Ruka though, whatever kind of person Kazuya is, she loved him and she got to have her first kiss with someone she loves. But lol the ring scene was so intense and awkward. I sighed a relief after seeing Sayuri in good condition but the doctor was like nope not only is her health condition bad but it's so bad that she's gonna die soon. Deciding to spill beans about his relationship with Chizuru to Sayuri was one of the worst decisons he landed on. I'm glad Chizuru convinced him to not do it. Seriously, why would he give a dying person such big shock. Still in the worst case, Chizuru really will be left with no family. Imagine same things happening but she didn't meet Kazuya. Imagine how different her life would be. I don't think it's a stretch to say she would have become clinically depressed after her grandma's passing. Meeting Kazuya led her to meeting his grandma and she already sees a daughter in Chizuru so even if Sayuri dies Chizuru won't be completely without family. Still Kazuya's grandma must REALLY love Chizuru for her to give the heirloom ring to her plus she didn't even ask her to wear it, she can sell it if she wants (which I'm sure she won't). I think this was the second or third time this season they give fish-kun some lines. Bruh they just showed Mizuhara sighing while showering and refused to elaborate. Show more man don't just cut it off like that. Show what she's thinking and stuff. I'm sure her mind was not really calm at the moment. So its officially decided by both Ruka and Chizuru that there's no need to spill beans about the rental thing and they can continue. I don't know why Ruka agreed but Kazuya must be feeling less guilty now and must be really thankful to her. But I don't understand Kazuya's unwavering will of steel. Most dudes would not be able to help themselves when a girl tells them she loves you so much and is glad she got to have her first kiss with you. Kazuya didn't waver though. Gotta respect Kazuya for that. He truly is a chad to just have eyes for his own waifu Chizuru. However pathetic he may be, but bro's got some real qualities too and it's undeniable. I would love nothing more than Kazuya ending up becoming a real chad by the time this whole series finishes. That would be some mega satisfaction. This episode was a freaking rollercoaster, so many things happened. It felt both long and short at the same time. The situation is such a clusterfuck right now and imagine they introduce Sumi as a love interest now lmaoo, Kazuya will just die then, not to mention Mami is already running her brains trying to get Kazuya and Chizuru in trouble. Next episode seems like a Sumi episode, should be good. And Ruka wanting to chain Kazuya up😏😏😏 6/5 episode and with this just 2 more episodes left in this season *sobs* Well said mister. I had my fists clenched when Ruka made out with Kazuya, it gave the first kiss shown in Engage Kiss anime a run for its money lol. It was great to see Kazuya man up and attempt to come clean to his grandma but of course an emergency call came in. Then Kazuya tried to come clean again with Chizuru's grandma but Chizuru stopped him. I guess it was the right call given that it could cause Sayuri unneeded additional stress. It was nice to see even Ruka back off given the circumstances and her actually concerned with Chizuru's grandma makes her look better and more mature. Curious to see how the next episode goes with Sumi, and yes, it's a shame that this only has 2 more episodes to go. If there's a season 3 I hope they they've already been working on it and will announce it to air next summer right after this season concludes (one can hope at least). |
| Now it turns out that if you fall in love with someone you have to kiss them without asking permission. And Kazuya does n't even stop her when she kisses him with her tongue de ella, saying that she would be faithful to Chizuru and avoid Ruka, I see that it is not like that. In conclusion, another crap episode. |

| Oh damn that Ruka kiss, that was looooooonnng xDD Kazuya almost admitted the truth to his grandmother but looks like Chizuru's grandmother is in a really bad state and might die soon :S Things are getting more complicated, but sure better not forget Sumi as well |

| Was it litteraly... a rape ? I mean Ruka is a psycho, and people seem confortable with it... she's so hot after all. And Kazuya saying he is the one guilty ?? If genders were swapped it wouldn't have been accepted. Even if the girl is hot, this isn't okay at all. |
