| Nice reveal that Maryrose was Master Robe. I've really been loving the mystery of this season, definitely an improvement over S1. |

| I am at a lost as to what game Mary Rose is playing. Is she is an emissary of Christopher? I thought he was the one locked up at first. Then I thought it was Plum's shadow. Now, I have no clue. |

| So Kate has her memories from before she became a shadow, they are known as morphs. Interesting info. Also Maryrose was the one under the robe, not really a surprise but it was well done. |

| This would have been more tense if they weren't screaming. Emilico having the best hint and not telling until they have done most of their deduction could have been done better. |

| I am a bit sad because I was expecting a big plot twist or something... Maybe it was kinda of a big reveal in the manga, but the animation staff gave us the favour of showing Maryrose in the ED even though she barely had any screen time, so it was expected she would have a bigger role sooner or later. Starting to think that Kate is hiding her true plans and she actually doesn't want to just change everyting. Maybe she still wants the morphs to take human forms as Shadows and live together confined, but not by brainwashing the humans into thinking they are dolls? Maybe that's part of the reason why Maryrose said to Emilico that she is not an ally neither enemy. I don't know, in this kind of stories, I usually start to doubt about the main character instead of the antagonists, so maybe I am just overthinking. Also, I love John. Everything he does is stupid and cute. What an amazing and adorable character. |
| That was such an intense episode, the vibe was terrific. Wow, that was a lot of progressions, Maryrose was Robe-sama, Kate is truly smart. Introduction of Morphs too, now more mysteries are waiting to be discovered. Seeing John stood up for Kate was amazing |

The special morphs reveal was probably the most interesting thing this entire season for me though. The fact there’s shadows who remember life before they began to mimic humans is really fascinating. What was it like? What made the shadows start doing it and what’s their endgame? Hopefully we learn more of that soon. Was about to post the EXACT same thing, LOL~!x'D>/ But yeah, I think it was pretty obvious that Maryrose was the culprit. To start with, it couldn't be Barbara and Barbie since we see them fighting the robed figure at the start of the 1st episode. Also, there's plenty of hints dropped throughout the following episodes such as Rosemary being the one who brings the phantom in both instance of it appearing or how she reacted to Louise's questions in the last episode about what it's like to be an adult shadow and the tests they need to pass and such things. Also, I did think it could be Christopher just like Kate inferred at first but an adult would definitely have an harder time moving about freely in the Children's wings. The morph thing was explained briefly at the end of S1 but nice to see it being brought back in conversations, I do agree that it is a very interesting topic to broach, maybe in a potential 3rd season or later in this one, as meeger the chances of it happening are..>:P> |
| I'm glad it didn't turn out to be Christopher. As soon as he was out of the picture the name I was expecting to come out of her mouth the most was Maryrose. Makes sense why they give her so much protagonism with the ending and all. Atavistic said: Well, I'm glad that Master Robe wasn't Christopher after all, but was in fact Maryrose this whole time. In hindsight, I should have wondered why she was so prominent in the ED, but I was so fixated on the Chekhov's Gun of Christopher's backstory that I was completely blindsided to any other possibility. same lol Barbara and Maryrose def have some beef going on that needs to be resolved |

| Now if you look at the KV of this season or even the whole of ED, it's obvious who the robe creature was the whole time. Makes sense too, atleast more than having someone like Cristopher coming out as one. Still those last few minutes were nothing short of some crazy tense drama. |
