Where and what time you do mostly read manga?
Such as reading the books in your home in the weekends, in a social place (cafes, libraries, etc), during your lunch break at work/school, during your commute, or any other preference?

During afternoons and evenings, often also before sleeping.
Mostly at home, but if I'm on a train I preload some chapters to read without having to require a wifi connection.

If I have five or ten minutes to spare somewhere else and I don't feel like talking all that much, I am tempted to read a chapter of a random manga in my reading list haha!

Pls don't write animeS or mangaS >.< // + <50 man(g/hw/hu)a not in MAL. // Join my >manga club< here!

I work a 9-5 job Monday to Friday so I use bus rides and lunch breaks to read a volume or two.

If kodomomuke/childhood manga count, around 2013, if not, maybe around 2019-2020 I think.
It usually takes about 1h (sometimes more) to go to school by bus on the way back and forth so I usually read manga here, enough for me to read about 3-4 volumes since I often feel distracted reading at home

I hardly do, but when I do
it's either when I'm in the bathroom or some free time, but I would rather watch anime on my free time

I'm reading them on my bed. Mostly before going to sleep or after waking up. It's like a ritual.
If I commute to somewhere by train/bus I also tend to read some manga.

Usually, I read on my breaks at work. However, I read on my phone, so if a chapter is released for a series I really enjoy, generally I read it immediately if I'm not too busy.

Even if helping people is easy,
asking for help is a hurdle of it's own.

Whenever I have time, I like to read at night before going to bed though.

I usually just read on my bed cause I have a bedside light.

But I've read on airplanes and other places before, though I don't really like reading on public spaces.

Reading takes more effort than just sitting down to watch
this is why I have not read any LN to this day despite being an anime fan for more than a decade now

As for manga, around 2012-2014 the completed count of manga and anime on my list were almost equal but I just couldn't bring myself to read that much

I usually do mine at a whim, like reading when I am in the mood or bored through my phone or desktop. 2015-2016 is arguably the peak manga reading phases I got, and is where I discovered most of the titles I have now on my faves. As for time, they mostly happen during the day as I'm more prone to watching/chatting at night

I did have short-lived manga phases in 2020-present though but they're around a month long at best

Any time that I get into the mood to do so. Doesn't matter the time of day (especially since I'm not working due to health problems and haven't worked for two and a half years). Though... mostly I read manhwa over manga simply because I like that they're colored. Both are good, but I like the colored panels of manhwa. And the whole... not reading them backward thing. And that they update a lot faster. I DO still read the occasional manga though (and manhua a.k.a Chinese comics like 'The Game That I Came From').

I mostly borrow them randomly from the library so there's no set time for me

When I go to the gym in the evenings, I read it while I'm pedaling my bike during my workout.

When I'm at home, I read with my body buried in the bed or cushions.

Basically anytime, anywhere when I have some free time.

Between training/sports activities, commuting, shopping etc. Been always carrying books and/or manga volumes around. There's also a cozy corner at home specifically for this occasion + multiple devices (e-readers, tablets, notebook). Where there's a will, there's always a way. -g-

MAL is a far cry from being my main literature site, that's why I won't be doing mere single chapter updates anymore. Manga- aka Baka-Updates + 2 French ones are miles better and more thorough/complete + less restricting. The latter are perfectly suited for Manga/Light Novel/Books collectors such as myself. Less stressful/tiring this way. -g-

Like most people here I also read before bed. But if I really get hooked on something I'll pick it up every chance I get.

I read it mostly online but sometimes physically. As for when, I usually get most of my reading done at night.
