| Get chance and luck! So Iwasawa disappears. It seems like she was finally able to escape from her old life completely and into her world of music, so she moved on. I get the feeling that a character will explain their past in every episode. Next episode seems like it will be more comedy oriented. |

| lovely episode!! it's a shame just as we get to know Iwasawa, she disappears out of nowhere :( this is why drinking too much alcohol can lead to problems like this. though when she lost her voice due to stroke, you'll return in your "normal" form if you die? poor Tenshin being the bad girl here : Miyuki Sawashiro's scream is soo good!! i'm guessing Tenshin grant her wish since she keeps coming back until Iwasawa "accepts" her past? amazing stuff!! on to the next episode! |

| I really liked Iwasawa. When I learned more about her in this episode, I grew fond of her. Dammit, why did she have to disappear... I wanted to see more of her. She had such a beautiful singing voice, especially her last song.. :/ |

| This was a nice episode, finally. The best among the first 3. Isawasa's story was a little bit more interesting than the previous one, but I think that's why I can relate to that. So we're starting to know where the show is about to go. With this "battle" against Angel, an apostle sent by the so hated God, they reminescence their deaths and left desires in order to accept it and leave that place. And Otonashi is assisting all of that, and in some ways maybe help them, and maybe once this is all over he could re-obtain memory of his death and leave. Maybe he's not dead. But that kinda recall Clannad. |
| This was a good episode. Iwasawa's backstory was more touching than Yurippe's backstory. While it's sad that she is gone, the way she disappeared was memorable as she seemed to found inner peace and accepted her fate. Overall, I liked Iwasawa's individual story. However, the plot is not that intriguing to me. So far, I don't care about angel and the fight against her. |

| Well, the backstory was executed better, and did they actually translate Pi that far down? Which kinda brings me to point out that they really put a lot of detail into this anime, such as correct fingering cords as such. Must of taken a lot of time. I'm starting to enjoy Angel Beats a little more. I look forward to more episodes. It's a good thing I don't have to wait for more episodes to come out. |

| Ok, I guess I know what this is getting at finally. Students who died without getting to live their school life to the fullest extent get another chance in the Afterlife(if that place is Afterlife). Their fight against God and Angel is their denial of this reality. If they stop rebeling and do what they regret not having done before their death they disappear from the Afterworld. This sets for some good potential actually, depending on what stories get played out, and I really feel that they will be great. That aside, the story was really good, and it hit hard before I was even knowing what's happenning. On top of this my guard was down because of what the setting was like up to now. Actually it was a bit too much *goes out* |

| Iwasawa's story clicked with me more than some of the others here. It seems this "afterlife" for people that have regrets. Until they've finally accepted their life, they're stuck at the school. That's why Iwasawa disappeared after she sang that song on the guitar. It was the song she always wanted to sing in front of others. That's sad. She disappeared from the ED too. ;-; Seeing Tenshi wonder why it was as though she's the enemy makes me wonder about her... Maybe she's actually there to help, but the people with regrets are too busy fighting against her to realize it? Great episode, minus the hacker guy. I don't like him that much. |
| I liked the music a lot in this. I thought the band in the fist episode was a weird gimmicky thing to do in the show but it fit really well in this episode. I feel proud of Iwasawa for letting go and that that is the ultimate goal for all the characters (though that's what their trying to avoid) |

| Had a feeling Iwasawa was going to move on (towards heaven). Her singing was beautiful,and was nearly brought to tears. Her backstory wasn't as sad as Yuri's but considering music is one of the few thing I'm very passionate about I felt very sad for her. So there's no god in this afterlife after all? |

| 3 episodes in and they've already played more music than K-On! Iwasawa gets thrown in our face with a sob story and then disappears. I hope I'm not suppose to feel sad for these characters that I've had no time to get to know. 3/5 |
