| What a surprise. So Nezuko's blood demon art is able to cure demon poison? I'm sure this will come in handy in the future. I'm just glad everyone survived, especially Tengen. He might only have 1 eye and 1 arm left, but he's alive, that's all what matters. Gyuutarou and Daki cruelties as demons can never be forgiven and still, in their last seconds when both of them were blaming each other and wishing that the other better had never been born made me sad. Like Tanjirou mentioned, even if you don't have anyone in this world there will always be your sibling you can rely on. There no one else who could understand it better as him and that was also the reason why he stopped Gyuutarou from talking. Witnessing Gyuutarou's and Daki's (Ume's) past was brutal to say the least. Not many people can imagine what it means to be born in such critical circumstances. Nonetheless Gyuutarou did a fine job as a big brother. I don't even want to know what that Samurai had in mind with Ume. Experiencing all these bad things and being at the verge of death, how could you not accept the present of that upper demon? It was nice to see both Gyuutarou and Ume found a way back to each other. Ume didn't give up on her big brother and Gyuutarou finally realized how much he means to Ume. I wished Obanai appeared way earlier instead of big mouthing Tengen afterwards. For over 100 years nothing changed and finally a upper demon got killed. Tengen's retirement is more than deserved. Kagaya also seemed to be very happy about the news. I'm also sure with more training Tanjirou is on a good way to become a Hashira. I hope Tengen can now live a happy life with Hinatsuru, Makio and Suma. Overall a fitting conclusion for the Entertainment District arc. I had a lot of fun with this season. With the amount of breathtaking animation, I often times got left speechless. And Tengen is such a badass character, I love him. Maybe we'll see him again in a future season. Besides from that I'm very interested in the other upper moons. Also what will Muzan do now with one of the upper moons gone? Guess I'll have to wait for the next season. | Great finale, Daki and Gyutaro's backstory was nice to see, although it still wasn't emotional to me given who they are, but it was still nice, especially the very end. So it seems like Kagaya and Muzan are related. I'll asume that it's not easy to get another Upper Moon demon, at least not with so much experience, so this victory is great! Having said that, I stil prefer Mugen Train's ending more than this, Rengoku was everything. I'm really sad Tengen won't fight anymore. And now the thing I hated the most in this finale was probably Suma. Even with Tengen not dying, I was hoping for a more emotional ending, but from the start of the episode, she just broke all the immersion by crying like a baby and then the out of nowhere jokes appeared. The best moment from this ending was honestly Inosuke's situation. It was quite emotional when Zenitsu told Tanjirou that Insouke is going to die. Great ending to the arc. Overall this arc was good but mostly because of what happened from episode 6 onwards. And again, I wish the ending was more emotional. Now it's time to wait for season 3 since it got announced! I'm really looking forward to the Mist Hashira and to see why the pink hair girl is a Hashira. |

| Miraculously none of the main cast died. Poor Rengoku had to set the standard for how nobody is safe with the Upper Six and Muzan, so now we're always afraid of the next loss. But, through the fire and (Nezuko's) blood demon art flames, everyone made it and we got our happy ending and could appreciate the Upper Six's death backstory without the bitter taste of an MC death spoiling it. The previous Upper Six looked so cool. And lol, now that they finally killed an Upper Moon, that Infinite Castle reappears to show that the others are in trouble... |
