| It was so great to hear We Are to start an episode again along with a recreation of its opening with the new style what a nice way to commemorate 1000 episodes strong in this incredible voyage ^-^ Takes me back to when I stumbled upon One Piece circa 2004/2005 to when I was watching One Piece episodes on YT it has been quite a journey so glad I caught up for this milestone! The original transition style was a nice touch along with some nice best of character moments for all the Straw Hats! Thank you Oda, the entire production team, Toei and of course the VAs for breathing life into One Piece it means a lot to me as it does to many others getting me through good and bad times as it always manages to light a smile on my face and evoke emotions like no other; this has been one hell of a ride and it's not over yet. Now bring on the next 1000 :D We are all ready! |

| What a magnificent accomplishment, 1000 episodes! Great episode and can't wait to see how the rest of the story plays out. Thanks to everyone involved, including the studio and amazing mangaka Oda sensei! Btw the Opening was amazing, loved it so much. |
| I don't think they could have done it better. I absolutely loved the OP. We Are is such a classic, so I'm glad they picked it with new and awesome visuals. We went from the ridiculous transformation of Cat Viper and Dogstorm, to the Franky Shogun transformation which could easily made it into a mecha anime lol, to the reintroduction of the all straw hats with so many nostalgic key moments, which actually made me tear up, because One Piece became very special to me in all these 18 years watching it. It's like having the little brother I never had. As conclusion the only thing I can say is, congratulations to Oda, Toei and all the passionate fans out there. It's unreal that we actually hit 1000 episodes, but the journey hasn't end, so we can look forward for hopefully many more. Thanks everyone <3 |

| man I absolutely loved this episode, it made me smile to see how far this show has come. The opening and the poster scene made me look back on some fun memories i always had on this show. Although the re introductions took around 50% of this episode, I felt like it was 100% worth it. I'm so glad I am apart of this journey, I'm glad one piece is my favorite anime ever, and lastly thank you oda. 5/5 episode easily for me |
| Oh my god this episode has EVERYTHING!! The opening recalls backs all the memories since opening one, and best part of all YAMATO AND HANCOCK WERE ADDED IN PART OF IT!!!! AHHHH THE ANIMATIONS ARE BEYOND STUNNING I CAN'T EVEN BREATH!! THE WAY HOW INU AND NEKO TRANSFORMED TOO!! Their voices are waaay too cool!! To top it off!! They aren't using dragon ball sound effects anymore!! And Zoro is not scared anymore! Getting flown up with Luffy!! AHHHH THEY EVEN CHANGED THE EYE CATCHER TOO?!?! Theres even more to this episode! the DOCKINGU!! TT_TT i'm crying! WAIT!! Sanji got his shades back after the impact? Even though they broke from before?! O_O Ussops special attack green star, SHOWS THE 1000 with the skull blast grass!!?! Sanji's intro was the best one in my opinion out of all others!! And Sanji took off his Germa suit just for the intro too!! And oh my god JINBEI IS WORTH 438 Million berries!! does that mean he replaces Zoro as the second strongest on the crew?! But the crew that came together put an amazing end to this episode!! Although the only thing i'm disappointed of is, NO YAMATO SCREEN TIME?!! WAAAHHHH But at least she got her own self in the opening !~ Also, the official opening got uploaded on the official One Piece channel!! Congratulations Oda and Toei! Thank you! |

| Episode 1000 I was here!!! Another amazingly directed episode, similar to 957. The nostalgia was strong! Also god tier opening A bit of a shame it didn't line up with chapter 1000 and was mostly filler, but oh well good episode regardless |

| What a time to be alive! Episode 1000. This felt more celebratory due to the flashbacks/introductions and Usopp's fourth wall break, but I'll let it slide. |
| As expected, the episode was mediocre aside from the animation and nostalgia grabs. The pacing was horrible as usual since we got only a small portion of chapters 989 and 990 adapted. Given the 1,000 episode milestone, why couldn't they have done us a solid and adapted all of chapter 990 and given us a properly paced episode? :/ |
| EPISODE 1000 everyone! I was a long-time fan of this series, but just recently got to pick it up again, this time to comprehensively understand its greatness. Although most of these flashbacks are still quite a bit fresh to me, it still definitely gave me a pseudo-nostalgic feeling that continued to build up as every single member of the Straw Hat Pirates are introduced. And needless to say, the 'We Are' OP remake is remarkable! Bringing us back to the very first song that opened the series and is now used to mark and celebrate the huge milestone only a few series can achieve. From the Romance Dawn, here a thousandth episode was born. Congratulations Oda-sensei, Toei, and the whole One Piece crew! |

| Episode worthy of being 1000!! First of all Opening is Peak, I cannot be more Happy than this. I cried like listening the opening!! Animation was literally amazing, and execution was brilliantly done by director & toei. I don't want to say much but I will say this one piece is the best fiction ever written!! CONGRATULATIONS TO ONE PIECE FOR REACHING THIS GREAT MILESTONE  |
| Well this episode was quite amazing, content wise i expected to not having anything ground breaking but that really isn't the point for this milestone so I expected the studio would do something special for this achievement and I was not dissapointed at all. Very well done and Congradulations to One piece for Reaching 1000 episodes. Can you believe we are in 4 digit numbers now. You know how long its been since we hit three digits, wayyyy back on episode 100. This moment is quite amazing and I think we will be getting a new opening probably next week with new visuals of the climax of the beast pirates conflict. Anime only fans, hope you have your straw hats on, because post 1000 is going to be pretty intense. You are not ready for the upcoming Battle. I only hope the studio really steps up their game in terms of the budget animation for the ROOF piece Fight. |

| I was expecting something more from the animation...it was good and better than normal but I wanted more movie quality like how episode 982 turned out. It is nice just hitting the milestone and the new throwback opening hit me right in the feelings but I was expecting them to really crank up the animation and pacing for episode 1000. |

| I'm extremely happy they didn't do a special 1000th episode. I like that we got some story along with a very brief synopsis of the Straw Hats. I also like that know we know why Luffy just seemed to be starring at the hole in the ceiling. When Sanji's bounty was raised, didn't his poster say Vinsmoke Sanji not Black Leg? Usopp and Chopper being ejected during docking was funny. |
