 TV Asahi opened an official website for an original television anime titled Ryman's Club on Thursday, revealing the main cast, staff, two teaser visuals (pictured above), and a teaser promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere on the NUMAnimation programming block on TV Asahi, BS Asahi, and its 24 affiliate stations in January 2022. Synopsis Ryman's Club is set in a badminton business group, depicting the two different aspects of daily life as a salaryman, as well as growth and conflicts as players. The anime follows Mikoto Shiratori, a prodigy badminton player who suffers from a trauma following a loss at the inter-high tournament. He becomes a salaryman at the Sunlight Beverage company and befriends Tatsuru Miyazumi, the best performing player and salesman in the team. | Omg it sounds great! I usually don’t watch sports anime but here we go!! And yes finally some non-teenage characters. As a 22 year old, I’d like to see more content like that. I finally can relate :D Winter 2022 is going to be amazing I think. There are already so many shows that I want to watch, I’m excited! |

| Japan is truly turning every sport known to man into an anime now lol But this is already seeming like a unique sports anime considering that the cast are all adults/businessmen so this should be interesting |

| Oo 2 badmintonSS for next year? Very interesting though the synopsis here may sound bland but the trailer may prove it wrong and it's an adult cast + badminton = hype and it's rare to see an adult cast playing sport while also focusing on their adulthood so cool that there's more content but a bit worried if they don't take badminton competitively or otherwise it'll make no sense as if they're doing badminton for nothing and even if it's for fun, it would roughly be nothing special to keep this series an eye on so they really should focus more towards to the sport and just add their adulthood as a side content :). Also badminton is probably one of my favorite sport ever because I personally enjoy banging with the racket jkjk, also it's very enjoyable to see a intense round of a badminton match, so I'm looking forward to this sport anime <3 |
