Even so, we have seen instances of scores dropping down a lot AFTER the anime finished. Not all dropped scores are ignored. Some may have went past the 1/5 threshold before dropping the anime, so, despite them having dropped the anime, their scores still count. That also means that those who haven't dropped the anime but still haven't watched at least 1/5 of the anime will not have the scores counted (includes high ratings). Btw how to convert 1/5 into episode count for a 13 episode series? |

| This is getting ridiculous. MAL needs a verification system to make sure that no one has duplicate accounts and block bots from being created. When it gets this extreme then extreme measures need to be implemented. Old inactive accounts can be ignored but current and new accounts need verification. |

| Good to see this fixed at last. Finally the fav character stats actually mean something again. Kind of funny that it had reached an extent that Gasai Yuno, the first character to get >1000 fake accounts (back before the ability to see favouriting users for a char was removed), but later stopped gaining these, actually went up in the rankings as a result of this. A part of me is curious as to which is the character with the most favourites who was completely unaffected by this (or affected to a degree that would round to 0%) |

The bots seem to be quite persistent in what they are doing so I have some doubts regarding how long the effects of this whole recalculation will actually last lol. They need to be removed yet again right away otherwise they'd just keep boosting the member favourites just like they did before. |
