| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Nice opener for Act 3 with Oden. The Fire Festival is such a farce, but at least the citizen of Wano get to enjoy one night of fun. Meanwhile pure despair for Kinemon and co. Roughly or almost two chapters were adapted this time, which is rare. It's been over a year since I read them, but they definitely skipped some panels, added some minor stuff here and there and some of the scenes that weren't included will be shown next episode. I guess in the end it works out well. Anyway, hyped for the flashback and I hope the anime will extend on some parts. This will be legendary. |

Y'all will never now how happy I am to see Marimo and Mr.Nosebleed reunited and teasing each other again (ಥ ʖ̯ ಥ) Lmfaoooo Zoro did my boi Sanji dirty💀 Oda Toei really do be adding fuel to the dumpster fire of a conflict that the whole Zoro/Sanji fandom dispute already is lol Poor scabbards tho...aaanyways, idc (≖ ͜ʖ≖) Most importantly, we will get the flashback of the character with the biggest balls in the whole OP universe that they possibly would bend spacetime... Really looking forward to how Toei will animate this :) |

| I had a feeling that they adapted more than one chapter which personally, I don't mind tbh because I thought this episode was good. 0 Seconds of recap this week and it seemed like they upgraded the animation for the small Oden+Roger moment which started off the episode perfectly. Shanks and Buggy were awesome. Also the pacing felt pretty good this week and I'm glad they fit all the build up into this episode so we can see the good stuff in the coming weeks. I can't wait. Even though it was pretty much build up, I still thought this was really good |

| Aha, the Oden-Roger flashback was nice, good to see young Rayleigh, Crocus and others. Act 3 has finally begun with its signature music! Seems like Orochi has somehow stopped people from gathering at the port for going to Onigashima... sounds like trouble to me oof |

| Act 3 has just started and Kinemon is having a hard time already. Luffy, Brook and Chopper looked really good in their Karuta. It looks like Oden's backstory will start with the next episode. |

| So begins act 3 and of course it's a terrible start for Kinemon and co. Although we know they'll eventually appear. Next week begins the Oden flashback which I'm really excited to see. |

| Firstly, nice to see some more screentime from Gol D. Roger's crew. There has been so little screentime of him, so anything is pure gold. Also, it's nostalgic seeing both Buggy and Shanks as small kids. Next, looks like Kinemon's plan has failed. Makes any anime-watcher wonder who the traitor is. Either it's one of Akazaya's or someone who was at the meeting ofc. (where the Straw Hats' crew are excluded). I have some suspects in my mind, but I have a feeling it's one of the Akazaya's. Only time will tell. Lastly, very funny to see Luffy in a samurai costume. LOL, it makes him look cool. At the same time, let's hope nothing has happened to Jinbei. It would be very sad to see him pass away that fast. PS. The "garchu" smile is adorable here: |

| Not to bitch about it, but the voice actor for Roger isn't clicking for me. He's supposed to be the greatest character but the voice totally was out of sync, just felt really weird. It's impossible to replace Sir Chikao Otsuka but atleast Toei could have done something better. Episode was banger though! |

| Nice start for the 3. act. What a feeling to see more of Roger and his crew. This was always something I wanted to see. So many familiar faces and just from this short scene it seems like they all had a great time together. Did anyone else notice how big Oden was? Rayleigh looked tiny compared to him lol. It's sad the old voice of Roger died, but I think we just have to get used to the new one. The flower capital looked amazing in the evening with the lights from the fire festival and the flying cherry blossoms. So the agreed meeting port of the Samurai alliance really got attacked by Orochis men. This really is a big problem. Judging by the preview we will see what exactly happened. I just hope they will also show how Orochi got his informations. Over 4000 men + the straw hats don't just disappear. God did I miss the banter between Zoro and Sanji. This will never get old :D I also hope Jinbe is fine. We haven't heard or seen of him in a long time. Maybe he will become a surprise factor for the upcoming fight? Can't wait for the Oden backstory. |

| I predict that one chapter an episode will be done 961 onward to align with Chapter 1000. Then, slower pacing again, because the anime will be roughly 10-11 months (not bad, but from 1000 on it will only start to get closer and closer. Toei used to do 6-9 months behind on average, but widened that gap. Even if we get at most 30-36 chapters this year, Toei can turn that into 49 episodes for the entirety of 2022 for ease (just as they turned the first 44 chapters of Wano into 63 episodes, lmfao) this is all just assumptions tho. It kinda explains why Toei up and suddenly adapted over a single chapter for the first time in roughly a decade, so that it could align with the episode count. |

| Recatched... As always, a nice shamisen welcome to the start of a new act, act 3 start! The fire festival has begun, whilst the people eat, drink and dances, some are lucky enough to drink water. Orochi has set sail towards Onigashima, but so are the rebels, only... This. I like how some random girl mention that tonight will be a Full moon. You know that that means don't you? This last few scenes is something to take a not on. Luffy knows that he'll have Big Mom to consider as well, and the most pivotal person that helped the strawhats escape from Big Mom's territory is Jinbei himself and yet he's not here. I admire Zoro taking up his role as the right-hand man AKA vice-captain of Strawhats by reassuring his captain that Jinbei will return to the strawhats in due time. |

| Well Roger seems to be a big drinker, but I like the voice acting for the younger Buggy If Roger allowed two kids on his crew, why wasn't young Pedro allowed to join Roger from before? "Orochi is even favoured by good wheater" No hes not, I don't see any cherry blossoms falling. All of a sudden Orochi drinks Sake, despite he tossed out multiple different Sake from his last banquet he had. So much lights added in the flower capital, since they don't run on electricity, it has to be a bunch of lamps runned by fire.I wonder how long it took to lit them all up. AHH Takoyaki, Yakitori, Oden, and much more! Love the new samurai armour outfits ! But wait until Luffy and the others see Sanji's raid suit Ball-De-Boo yet again makes an appearance |
