Do you buy it physically (CDs, vinyl) or do you buy it digitally (Spotify, iTunes)? Or are you too poor to buy anything and just use Youtube?

The last option.

I buy Blu-rays and DVDs, most of my games, even a few graphic novels, but never music.

I eat music using my ears, via earphones usually, and I usually eat them from Youtube because it has comment section, it's entertaining to read :)

By torrenting flac files to waste hdd/sd card space.

Is FLAC worth it tho? I heard you can barely feel the difference between a FLAC and an 320kbps mp3

Not really, but I like having flac files anyway.

Streaming albums that I already own/torrented though Spotify to justify having a data plan/giving streams to the artists that I stole from.

I mostly use YouTube and SoundCloud. SC is a great way to discover smaller artists. The amount of ads they have are a little ridiculous though.

I don't consume music, it consumes me.

No in all seriousness, mostly youtube/spotify, or even better, in an actual anime or game itself.

But I have Amazon Music, Spotify...

Spootify. haha

I love that you can go a song's radio, it helps me discover different artists. It is so good.

I am also interested vinyls too. Having a vinyl collection seems really interesting to me. I'm not sure if I would use the vinyls really often or not tho.

Used to stream music from YouTube and SoundCloud, but with how unreliable streaming is/songs can be deleted at any time I'm switching back to downloading music. I get to own a copy + no need to dump money or mess with adblock just to listen to music. (And a bonus: at least if I buy directly from the artist I know most of the money's going to them)

Maybe when I have the space and money, I'll get into vinyl and cd collecting. Especially vinyls. Some of them look cool af

Spotify FTW. It has almost everything I want on it :)

I use Spotify mostly, since I get the college student discount and most of my friends use it as well, so sharing music is pretty easy.

My boyfriend and I recently got a record player, so we're slowly getting vinyls as well, but we don't use it all the time.

Even if helping people is easy,
asking for help is a hurdle of it's own.

I started paying for Spotify 2 years ago, and haven't looked back. I used to torrent all of my music, but Spotify allows you to take the music with you on the go and even save a large amount of them to your mobile device/computer for "offline" listening. I haven't found a single service better, or even close to as seamless as Spotify.

I don't think I do consume music, atleast not purposely.
Most of the time now music is from Ops and Ends and also from games.
Don't actually actively have a desire to have music on anymore.

I've been using Spotify since 2015, but not always as a premium subscriber. Its offline feature is convenient for me during commute trips to work, which prior to pandemic takes more than an hour just one way.

I suddenly remember the days before online streaming.. all my music came from torrent and direct download. Spent hours organizing my folders, renaming the .mp3 file, and I even went my way to add the album art into each song file so it appears on winamp everytime I play it.
