 Shueisha's Jump Square magazine for May has announced that a second season of the Rosario + Vampire anime series has been greenlit for production. It will be renamed Rosario + Vampire Capu2 series and has been planned for an October debut. It will have new anime only characters, more characters that were from the manga as well. | On one side, I'm happy. On the other, it's a bit dissappointed. It's even 50/50! If another company does it..and it turns out GREAT, then yay. If GONZO does it, and it turns out great, then yay. If GONZO does it and it bombs again, then I'm not surprised. If another company does it and bombs it, then I'll think this series is cursed <_< |

| i for one am happy about this news....i do admit that the first season was lacking compared to the manga but other anime have also "picked up" as they continued airing...i hope that vampire+rosario will be one of those that "picked up". |

| I was fine with the ecchi, my problem was that the storys plot was reused over and over again... Opening -> Talking -> Bad guy comes in -> more Talking -> Tsukune pulls the cross off Moka -> Moka process to kick the bad guys ass -> More talking -> Ending besides that its a pretty funny series :3 |

| I dunno, maybe because I loved the manga so much that i just cant seem to get excited about the anime...I really wish they had just stuck to the manga more. Would have been so much better imo. |
