| I would rate it a 1/10 because Akame Ga Kill is literally my least favorite anime of all time. Horrible characters, abysmal worldbuilding, the extreme lack of subtlety, the boring ass fights, it's edginess which people have already mentioned, and literally the worst execution of character deaths that I have ever seen in any form of media let alone anime. |

Lol, it was among the first batch of anime I watched so I might rate it lower than I did if I watched it again now, but even on reflection, I think your scathing takedown of it there is laying it on a bit thick :P I can't say myself it was anywhere near that bad. But, I will respect and recognise your opinion, because I feel the same about Death Note (and I shit on it every chance I get, it's a character flaw of mine). Also ♥ Esdeath ♥. | I haven't completed it because I find it boring and generic. Some soulless characters die just for the sake of dying without the show making you feel any attachment for them whatsoever. From what I've seen, somewhere between 4-5. Note: As I state in my profile description. I don't count dropped/rewatched series here. I have it listed on my Anime-Planet under dropped. Just putting this here in case someone accuses me of bashing the show without ever giving it a chance. |

| My 3/10 for Akame ga Kill was a bit harsh in retrospect(I came across worse in recent years) I haven't touched the anime in 6 years, so for what it's worth, I would say it was pretty try hard and despite that still dull most of the time. Couldn't give a fuck about the ending as well. Now I'm inclined to raise it to a 4/10, I liked some episodes(in particular the first few) and characters after all. |

| I watched that anime this year. It was a disaster of epic proportions. No idea why people were angry with the anime original ending when the show was kinda trash since early episodes. 2/10 |

| On my list I see I put a 5, absolutely average show going for the shock factor with frequent deaths, once I passed the fairly unpredictable 1st ep the rest of the show MO is clear as day. I add a little something for otherwise it'd have been a 4 |
