Make everyone vulnerable to deaths and unexpected turn of events who guess that Armin one of main character died first on their group this season lol and Conny, Sasha and Jean the supporting cast were still alive. 5/5 Ep |

| Ok there is something bugging me. With all the pressure from the steam the colossal Titan was giving off, Armin definitely should've been blown to the other side of the wall, and yet there he was, on one of the buildings on the same side of the wall. And that's......not possible. |

| I'm not a "huge" fan of Levi, but that was awesome. Apart from the actual meaning that the title of this episode, "hero" depicts, which is Armin's sacrifice, Levi was the one who made this episode epic. |

| Ohh man such a fantastic episode from start to finish..it was edge of the seat entertainment till the very end.. Finally all three of them defeated in one fell sweep.. Levi was so badass..when he got that titan it felt so good to see him thrash it.. Great work by the other team as well in taking down Reiner.. Armin..RIP..:( |

| LEVI & ARMIN TOOK THE SPOTLIGHT!!! Levi is a true badass monster, Ape titan didn't even stand a chance when Levi got close, all those flesh is nothing but butter when faced against Levi. I loved the animation, the manga's scene alone gave me goosebumps but this is just an orgasm, on the contrary, the OST leaves much to be desired. Armin, a hero. With a brilliant plan to sacrifice his life, he managed to turn over the tide of the battle despite the overwhelming odds. Yet again, the animation did its justice, the OST is good here as well. I really liked the part when the sound is drowned out when Eren took Bertolt down. Finally... Mikasa and the gang is cool when they defeated Reiner but we all know they're not the spotlight. |

| ok now i'm a bit more coherent but this really hurts. armin was so earnest and while he wasn't my favourite i loved seeing the way he would think up solutions to everything and save everyone. he was quietly braver and stronger than all of them. i'm so sad :( levi vs the beast titan!!! just incredible. levi is so sos so impressive, it was such an amazing breathtaking fight scene, seeing his rage and power and insane speed and the beast titan guy being totally taken aback by it all. part of me wishes he had just finished the job but i know the beast titan guy is important to the plot so ok next time levi hange is alive!! thank goodness. please say reiner and bertoldt have been defeated because i'm sick of them and their stupid titans and whatever they are trying to do. just share with the class what you want to achieve |

| I absolutely loved this episode but cannot help think that Armin's plan shouldn't have sacrificed him, not when his strategy has been the deciding factor time and again. Of course, Armin couldn't exactly have asked any of the others to have done it instead...but in the long run, it would probably have been better if Connie had been the sacrifice. Nothing against Connie and he is a good enough fighter to have survived this long, it's just that I don't think his skills are as necessary for the survival of humanity. EDIT: On second thought, there really was no other option because of Reiner. Armin couldn't have known that Hange was still alive and kicking and in order to put a stop to Reiner, Connie- along with the others- were absolutely required. Armin would have been close to useless against Reiner so he played his cards the best way possible. At times, gaining time so that some people survive supersedes considerations for a future that won't even materialize unless the short time objective is accomplished. |

| Holy shit, I'm speechless. One of the best episodes so far, if not the best. The action scenes were amazing. Levi vs Bestial was pure epic. And what to say about Armin sacrifice? I will miss him, a great character. |
| This is where anime history is being made. I can safely say this episode made AOT reach godhood, of course it couldn't been done without help of outstanding build up from previous episode . This episode was so perfectly paced and crafted that there isn't anything much more to say but to thank the producers, directors and animators for creating such a beauty. Levis fight against beast titan - phenomenal and hype af. Armins sacrifice to trick Bertold - outstanding character development and most heroic act in the series along with Erwins sacrifice And then the super epic Erens suprise attack which proved how easily most feared and powerfull foes can be defeated by quick well planned strategies. Its really sad that Armin had to suffer being burnt alive but his act is legendary and more brave than anything I've seen in the series so far. And of course lets not forget Reiners defeat which felt like a cherry on top of this whole fantastic desert 5/5 would be an obvious score for this but I'd say 6/5 is more the correct rating for this masterpiece of an episode |

| wow.... I genuinely thought Armin had too much plot armor. I thought Levi would die. I thought the whole rest of the 104th cadet core would die. But Eren and Armin are like Frodo and Sam. wtf... just... wtf... more characters are dying in this climactic showdown than did in fucking season 7 of Game of Thrones. |

| "Hero" alongside "Perfect Game" and "Midnight Sun" are the holy trinity of Attack on Titan. This is where AOT reached godhood. The storytelling was insanely good. Honestly some of the best storytelling ever written. Erwin Smith and the Survey Corp gave their lives to give a chance Levi to defeat the Beast Titan. Levi vs Beast Titan was absolutely incredible. Beautifully animated, full of emotion and determination in Levi's voice. Levi saying "I made a promise to him that I'd kill you no matter what" was heartbreaking. On the other side of the wall, Levi's squad battle The Armored Titan. While Armin and Eren battle the Colossal Titan. The dialogue, soundtrack, direction and animation harmonize outstandingly to depict this battle. Just like Erwin, Armin knew he needed to sacrifice himself for his plan to work. He gave up on his dream to give humanity a chance. When Eren says "Gotcha" it's one of the most satisfying moments in the entire show. This episode is legendary and for good reason. It could rival just about any movie or TV episode. It's a work of art. |
