If you've got a heart then Gumby's a part of you. Rainy Cocoa Side G's episodes are not a second over two minutes. Might be best to watch them all at once at the end. Wataten is more my speed than UzaMaid for sure Ueno-san wa Bukiyou: I'd rather it was not purified thanks Boogiepop, I'm amazed/amused by the current low score. Confusion rank SSS Rising of the Shield Hero was awful for the first 15 minutes or so, but after that it was alright (in that the MC doesn't seem as hateable as I expected), guess I'll stick with it. Main point of interest is the Kevin Penkin score :P Wasn't planning to watch The Promised Neverland, but I've been convinced to at least give it a few episodes. | Kemurikusa Episode 1 was really interesting. I unironically love the animation and artstyle of it. Maybe Kemono Friends ruined me and permanently warped my taste for CG anime but this show's CG is a lot more pleasing to me than something like Bang Dream Season 2, which is definitely in the uncanny valley. Just the way the characters move in this and Kemono Friends Season 1. I really just enjoy watching it even tho I recognize that it is not that impressive on an artistic level. It's just pleasing to me. Characters are fun and concept is interesting. I'm definitely looking forward to watching more from this show. |
| will definitely watch / am watching: wataten bang dream season 2 (eh. ill probably get used to cg. its not that bad, although it is noticeable) endro~ colorful pastrale (in addition to aikatsu friends / kiratto / precure) might watch: ameiro cocoa will probably skip: pastel memories edit: so i watched wataten, and they may pretty substantial changes from the manga. lower the lewdness from Miyako, removed some scenes altogether and turn the moe factor to 11. |

Don't like the song much, but I always think of the title. I don't have much to say about Endro https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1761306&show=0#msg56709088 Alright so Bermuda Triangle, seems no one is an idol yet at the start, and the only mention of idols so far was in the opening prologue. Slow first episode, pleasant, but probably would have made for a Bloom-like dull simulwatch... not much to comment on, except for occasional cool bits like meeting a seal mailman and seeing hijiki being grown on mats in a woman's front yard. It's better than I thought it might be, but not a must-watch. I don't have to write all my thoughts because Ubiquitor already wrote half of them: Ubiquitor said: I was expecting more, honestly. The mermaid thing is an interesting premise and the character designs are cute but so far they haven't really done anything interesting with it. I mean, at least make the architecture look a little less... normal, do SOMETHING with the premise, make some considerations for how things would actually work. You even see them drinking coffee like normal, liquids do not work that way underwater. | gotta love these random Bang Dream episodes about girls that I don't know or care about. Well at least one of the girls was clearly just Yukari from Girls und Panzer. Could have been worse. I mean I know they got an app to advertise here but at least try to integrate the main cast a bit more to make me care about the story. Can't expect me to care about these girls feelings when I was just made aware of their existence 10 minutes prior. |

| her name is eagle so it would be kind of surprising if she was not? Definitely needed her from the first ep though her voice is a little on the squeaky side. yeah the default bang dream band is absolutely the lamest one, it's like how aoba is the lamest new game but gets most of the screentime (ducks) speaking of eagle and eagle jump somebody drew notable chubster iijima yun with her bangs parted to one side and it's like... actively good? you stop that right now. i see people getting Mad Online about shield hero and remember when i used to do stuff like that, one of the advantages of just getting older i guess; i am not sure where the 8.5+ rating is coming from but it's been watchable enough. needs more party members, but i say this about literally every show. Its high score is not as puzzling to me as Promised Neverland which I think has just been ok and is probably being inflated by fans of the manga which could well be very good, I haven't looked into it. A manga I did look at which is running concurrently in jump with neverland is Shishunki Renaissance! David which features a boy who looks just like Michelangelo's statue with a crush on a girl based on Botticelli's Venus (the clam one) and whose best friend is Manneken Pis (the boy peeing into a fountain one) and I'm definitely enjoying how incredibly dumb it is. I'm not sure about David being into Christmas presents though? |

| I would argue that the band featured in this latest episode was not terribly more interesting than PoPiPa. When it comes to Afterglow, Roselia, and Hello Happy World, yeah they are all unique and interesting but I couldn't imagine a series dedicated to any one of them. They are much too gimmicky. Also I need my Kasumi and Arisa and Rimi-rin every week no matter what. So yeah Simple is the Besto and I love my PoPiPa. As for Sekkou Boys the only episode I remember was when one of the boys was trying to run a really transparent pyramid scheme/cult. That was pretty funny. The rest of the show is deleted from my memory. |
| I don't have much opinion yet on anyone's sound other than Roselia's (they're all more similar than they should be IMO), but Pastel*Palettes is automatically more interesting by looking like a bunch of cutesy idols playing rock instruments, versus PoPiPa having (buckle up, I'm going there) black-haired bassist brunette drummer blonde keyboardist the band is brought together by a novice, overenthusiastic, lovably incompetent short-haired brunette vocalist / guitarist whose younger sister is surprisingly much more mature and capable than she is I'd watch a full length version of Pastel Life :D I figure most CGDCT are just gimmick + formula anyway. |
