I've convinced a few friends into reading manga over watching specific anime titles because they're just so much more way ahead plot wise, plus the mature content in them isn't scrapped out as anime's do when animated. Discuss your motivational reasons here teehee. :3

its not like you have much choice if you like the anime and want to see the continuation to the story.
You can buy lossless digital music from your favorite Japanese artists on https://ototoy.jp/.
The songs are all DRM-free and you can re-download your purchased albums as you wish.
Show your support to your favorite artist if you can!
ps. if you are looking for Japanese albums, you have to search it in Japanese (not romaji). Just copy and paste the name.

There are a lot of manga that don't have anime adaptions. (*Recommends manga which is similar to an anime already watched*)

its pretty depressing to know there are plenty of kirara manga that will never receive an anime adaptation. :/

7/10, 6/10 if I consider viability of whether they could be turned into anime, of the manga on my list will likely never be anime. That's more depressing to me. Mizukami's Spirit Circle and the works by Yumeka especially.

I don't motivate anybody but just say to him/her that you will miss a lot of good things if you only watch anime especially since nowadays most of the manga don't have complete adaptations

Manga is harder to rec cause it's usually longer and you can't do this activity together unless it's a weekly read and you're already caught up unfortunately.

Force sitting my friend to catch up to bnha was a nightmare but she got to it eventually. Now we discuss it weekly.

Hype it up constantly too and be all I CANT BELIEVE THIS HAPPENED but don't be privy to give spoilers be all "i don't want to ruin it for you" the ultimate tactic.

I don't know, usually people come to me to ask for manga recommendations, honestly. I'm the only one of my friends who reads a lot of manga, so whenever they actually want to read something, they'll turn to me. Don't really feel like I should force people beyond that.

Give them vague spoilers without any context to get them interested in reading the source material.

Some stories are better drawn static imo. Its pretty arbitrary for how I decide when to watch anime vs read manga

Tell them a brief summary, and why YOU like it. Usually people's interest peak when they see your enthusiasm or what impact it made on you. Otherwise it might feel empty and not worth checking out. If it's specifically a "READ THE MANGA" approach because it has more detail than the anime or the ending was lackluster, usually one's curiosity will already be peaked once they finish the anime.

Showing screenshots of the artwork and some great dialogue works as well since people can be more visual.

It is best to convince people with manga that do not have adaptations. (Oyasumi Punpun, Yotsubato, Helter Skelter)

Alternatively, you could convince them to read the manga on an anime that doesn't have an ending or where there is so much more in the manga than the anime counterpart (Aku no Hana, Nausicaa Valley of the Wind, Deadman Wonderland, Fruits Basket).

For me though, there is simply more in the artstyles I like in manga format and some genres are better in manga. Like horror. And in my case, I obviously like BL (boys love) manga. There just aren't that many anime.

i say dont...why create more distractions in your life? just focus on your studies or business lol

mangas are addicting as fuck.

anyway if you still wanna read manga then i recommend watching a anime which ends at a terrible cliffhanger ending and continues only in the manga, for example - tokyo ghoul.

Okay, I'm gonna say, that if you're interested enough, you're gonna do whatever you want. Anyway, I'm not the best motivator, hah. However, the guys from essayexplorer.com are the real specialists! Try asking them.

There definetly needs to be more good anime's made that actually do have an ending and ya don't have to read the manga to get to the real juicy parts. My eyes hurt a little from reading manga for long periods of time hihi.

This is true, but at the same time I can't be bothered to simultaneously read like 500 manga and light novels at once especially since I read at a snails pace. A wise man chooses his battles. I usually actively read only around 2 or 3 things, but I read by the volume so all kinds of stuff goes on and off Hold all the time since there's months or years between volumes, if you include those too it would be around 26 things.

On top of that I already have a rdiculous unread manga/novel backlog of 280 books on my shelves already.

I wouldn't. The most I would do is giving recommendations on specific series based on the taste of the individual.

That's not really a reason to lock it. You can't keep requesting to have your threads locked. If you don't want to discuss things, please don't make threads.

Just needed to make the request before repplies started to repeat themselves is all. I don't mind if it's locked or not anymore. I won't request locks from ya anymore and sorry one last time for bothering ya.

Personally, I find it easier to convince people to watch anime before dragging them into the world of manga.

i would motivate them by telling them the manga of a certain anime is far more progressed than the anime. another thing i would do is telling them that animes are never guaranteed to get complete adations.i would also say that there are tons of good manga which are probably never going to get anime adaptions for example simply because there were too many anime similiar to them already.

Some manga's may have a really good story though they don't have a big enough budget to be animated kinda like what happened to Bleach. (thankful it got animated because it has some really interesting soundtracks) Back before One Punch Man was even animated I had a lot of fun seing the battle sections of the manga thanks to a friend of mine recommending it to me teehee.

I don't think we need to convince people to do something,. in this case reading manga. Usually if someone is really interested he/she will start to read without external reasons. Also because there are many things we can do in life and each one is different, so it doesn't exist a motivation to read manga, but an internal motivation, like for every thing
