I think it's actually a bad thing, since it will hurt all series involved due to competition. At least the Overhaul finale will happen in the second cour, so it will merely be the buildup that is forced to compte.

Dang, now that I said it, it doesn't look good for MHA in the spring. MHA Buildup vs other series finale episodes is a pretty bad matchup.

Honestly, I'd bet my money on an April air date. It's been that way ever since season one; I don't know why BONES would decide to switch things up now.

Why will it hurt all series? Competition is good and it's not like someone have to decide between two series what they wanna watch. As long as those are made by three different studios I don't see a problem.

But they’re catching up to the source material quickly too.
Honestly, for the greater good, I’d say sometime around Fall ‘19 would be more ideal for another cour/two cour season. But yeah, chances of an April air date are very high.

from now until April they'll have enough material for S5 -with both S4 & S5 being 25 episodes-
if the manga doesn't go on hiatus and Bones adapts a two cour season each spring they can continue like this until the manga ends

They won't be judged on their own merits or have the spotlight alone. Sure, MHA and AOT have done it before, but in 2017 it was the lackluster AOT S2 against the hyped up MHA tournament arc, while in 2018 it was the hyped up Uprising arc in AOT against the underwhelming (compared to the hideout raid arc) Licensing Exam arc. MHA S4, AOT S3 Part 2, and OPM S2 will feature the most popular arcs (at least from what I've heard from the fans) in series.

The issue isn't watching all of them, it's only around 60 minutes worth of content weekly. The issue is the community discussions, people will not talk about other series because they are busy talking about one series. Or if they do talk about other series, it will be comparing them to the other big series that season. It's a dialogue limit, not a industry or fan watch time limit.

but read this post:

Last season? With how popular it is? Wich anime study in its healthy judgment will not make use a gold's eggs hen... I also think this will keep on for a while... Seriously ...

Well, let's put the data on the table:

BNHA 1 season, 13 chapters
Apr 3, 2016 to Jun 26, 2016
adapted chapters: 1 - 21
when the anime began the manga was by the 84th or 85th chapter. When the anime ended it had through chapter 100 approximately, about 79 chapters of difference with the anime.

BNHA 2 season, 25 chapters
Apr 1, 2017 to Sep 30, 2017
adapted chapters: 22 - 70, 48 chapters approximately.
When the anime began the manga was by chapter 131 or 132. At the end of the anime the manga had through chapter 153 or 154 approximately, about 83 or 84 chapters of difference with the anime.

BNHA 3 season, 25 chapters
Apr 7, 2018 to Sep 29, 2018
adapted chapters: 71-124, 55 chapters approximately.
When the anime began the manga was by the chapter 177 or 178. When the anime ended this weekend the manga had 200 chapters, about 76 chapters of difference with the anime.

I've seen many people saying that if BNHA decides to adapt another season of 20+ chapters, it will reach the manga and therefore it will not be able to keep up with this rhythm ... haha no. Without counting that season 2 and 3 have some filler chapters, it is maintaining one season per year adapting about 50 chapters (except in season 1), and the manga release about 50 chapters per year approximately. You can say it has material for almost a 5th season.

Apparently if they stay with the pace leading up to now, it can release seasons until the manga ends ... or until it will be no popular enough to be able to financially support another season, but seeing BNHA popularity right now I doubt it, I hightly doubt it.

PS: taking into account that each season of BNHA came out in April ... I think the 4th has a high probability of being release in April the next year.

We have a Watanabe's and an Ikuhara's anime in Spring, I won't talk that fast for the AOTS. ;)

Damn, I thought I was the only goddamn one in the planet who disliked One punch man. The humor is just so bland to me, which is supposed to be the strongest aspect of this show.

Boku no hero launches 5 volumes per year, the average by adaptation of 25 ep is 5-6 vol. the S4 should adapt the volumes 15,16,17,18,19 & 20. volume 21 will be released later this year. With this we will have the 21, and in 2019 we will have the 22,23,24,25 & 26 so until the beginning of 2019 we'll have material for an S5 (theoretically)

They have quite a bit of material they can adapt right now at least.

Either way, if it's fall then I have this and Chihayafuru to look forward to T-T.

I don't think they would ever make filler for MHA, but if it was in April instead of October, it would definitely be lower quality
