| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Whoa, the forest of Hakumei to Mikochi really is a mysterious place. Traveling together for new discoveries and doing undrerwater research, this episode had a mystical feel to it imo. Compared to some of the other episodes, this one really took on an adventurous style of storytelling. The song they sung was also kinda catchy to hear. |

| Hakumei practicing swimming was hilarious, and we got to know a lot about her like she can't swim, sing and she has seasickness despite not even being the focus of the first half wow she outshines Konju and Sen's antics Sen hair down is fucking beautiful, those eyes, those eyes makes her look like a reverse trap, a guy, but hair down, with those eyes, so perfect, she's hands down the most beautiful character in the series |

| Oh goodness, this episode was done beautifully. While there's some minus compared to manga, but the plus-es are abundant. One thing that we cant get from the manga - the rythm of the deep song at the end of the episode. Imho, that song surpassed my imaginity. Konju, or Yuuki Aoi, sang it perfectly. And oh boy, Sen looks gorgeous with that new outfit ~ It looks really good in the manga - the nuance, the drawing and all. But with colour in the anime, it doesnt lose with the manga version. |
| It's nice to see Konju and Sen expanded as characters. The use of rhythm to power Sen's skeletal automatons/constructs is unique as far as I can tell. Sen looked great with her dress matching her eyes. Maybe a dumb question, but while Konju, Hakumei, and Mikochii appear to be the same species of pixie (or gnome, or faerie, or whatever), Sen is a little different with distinctly pointed ears and sharp canines. Sen is also magical, while the other three are more conventional in their abilities. Is Sen merely a variant form, or something different? |

In the manga, when Jada cut Hakumei's hair, it is shown that Jada and Hakumei has pointy ears. And for the teeth, well, maybe thats an individual difference. For magic, actually it's not magic, but instead it's kind of science (about life, her research theme). |
| You jump again into a new context, which is not necessarily bad, since I can review the character of Sen and learn more about Hakumei and Mikochi. This episode is also nice and relaxing, I hope that a second season of this show will soon be made. |

| After re-watching the whole 9 episodes more than 3 times, i kinda realized that there's something between Konju and Sen. It's something that i personally perceive, maybe people will differ how to see this : Konju and Sen feel like two sides of a coin. Konju is a songstress who use her voice to bring life psychologically to people around her. Well, not literally "bringing life psychologically", but people who hear her song tend to become lively and make noise (clapping etc). Konju tends to wear clothes that show her skin and with bright colours at that, except in this episode where she wears black dress. In my view, Konju is quite a bright, cheery and pompous girl. On the other hand, Sen is quite the opposite. Sen use instrumental things to bring life to her research object, bones. It can be viewed that she brings life quite literally - even those bones have their emotion and responding to that emotion. Sen tends to wear clothes that dont show her skin, with dark colours. In my view, Sen is quite a calm, not talking too much and has her own level of considerations. Despite having such differences, both of them has quite similarities as well. But i need to dig deeper for this :) sorry for the long comments and feel free to differ. |

| More Konju this episode!! I really like her character for some reason... and Sen too, although she was a little harsh with her at the beginning but it's ok due to their respective personalities. The first part felt kinda magical with the whole idea of being underwater in that curious ship and the singing made it even more cool! Hakumei pls xD The second part was good as well. It was nice to see more development from Sen's character. I haven't see it before but she is indeed gorgeous and her eyes are so lively. | Awww, Simon likes that song. Poor Hakumei flailing on the floor and then her awful singing. Okay that was SO adorable when Sen was standing outside the door with her back turned and Konju's eyes sparkled! Then when Sen complimented Konju's outfit...it's very cute. |
