| This chapter was quite a downer. Yasuho lying in the bathtub with her slit writs made me upset on a visceral level. So Holly saved Yasuho, gave her the will to live on and shaped her principles. You know, despite how little we've seen of her, I've actually grown to respect her quite a bit. She's so much more than the damsel-in-distress plot device that was Part 3 Holly. Also Kira's reappearance made me squeal. His little moment with Yasuho was really qt |

| Rock animals surely are bizarre creatures. I liked that story about Yasuho and her hairpin and the way it connected to everything lee in the story, like Kira, Holly and the existence of rock people. |
| Yasuho's father sure was scummy. I get that he might not be able to spend EVERY sunday with his daughter, but you can always work out an alternative. Heck, how about letting Yasuho visit your new family? Whatever, from the look of it the dude got killed by the rock thing anyway. So for Yasuho it might have looked like he disappeared for good. Funny how rock creatures are now suddenly a thing. |
| Does this rock animal ability get triggered by somebody touching it? I wonder if the seller was another rock human then, in case he wasn't affected. Although it's interesting to know why Yasuho's father disintegrated so much faster compared to her. Also...rock animals might be the reason for Holy's empty spaces in her brain or something? xD P.S. That narration Araki's doing in the first few panels is unnecessary. I don't think it was a thing in other parts. |
