Introduced me to a few recurring themes in anime- 5 man teams composed of the leader and the his second in command with a chip on his shoulder, the chick, the short guy who always has a trick up his sleeve and the big dumb strong guy with a heart of gold. Oh yeah, wild uniforms with helmets, vehicles and bad guys very much in touch with their feminine side. Good times, good times... |

| Oh man... My first anime... Gods... that was a long time ago, but I can still remember it quite clearly. It was back in the days when we got Sky Channel in Holland and they aired Tekkaman Blade in the morning. I loved that show back then, I must have been 9 or something so that's 20 years ago. I didn't know it was anime back then, heck I didn't know they made something like that in Japan or where that was. The first anime that I've seen when I knew anime existed and what it was, that was Trigun, and seriously, a great anime to start out with, that was back in 2001. There is a rather amusing story behind it actually. I was never really into anime or cartoons but was really into music. I had recently discovered the band Reel Big Fish and was downloading music videos of theirs and ran into More Than Toast's Somebody Hates Me AMV, which uses the Reel Big Fish song and Trigun. I was intrigued by the video, since it has some superb editing and really fits well with the song and I looked up the series that they used which was Trigun and immediately fell in love with it, and that was the start of my anime addiction. I HAVE NO REGRETS! |

| Hm, must be The Moomins - I dare to say that there's not a single(or at least many) kid in Finland, who hasn't seen it, haha. : D Since The Moomins is a famous Finnish children's story. Other one is Ginga Nagareboshi Gin, yet another famous anime among Finnish children back in the 90 s, despite it's cruelty. :x I myself got traumatized for the rest of my life by those unbelievebly huge bears. But I still do love it to death. |

| Tanoshii Moomin Ikka, back in the 90's. Was somewhat popular here in Scandinavia back then, more so then the books they where based on at least. Still kinda like it, and I actually prefer the Norwegian dubbing to the original Japanese; which is rare as the dubbing around here usually suck. |

| My first anime was The Rose of Versaille (Lady Oscar) that say a lot about how old I am lol, but at that time I didn't know what an anime is until I got hook by Sailor Moon and DBZ. |
| The earliest I remember is Adventures of Little El Cid, when I was 4... and it was dubbed. As for japanese audio, the first I've seen was Ai no Kusabi and tv series Yami no Matsuei in 2002. yes, I got into anime from yaoi ^^ |

| First for me would have to be... Robotech or Voltron Theres another one I vaguely remember something about some guy who can call on super powers (possibly armor of some sort) to save the world, but he has to eat alot afterwards because it uses alot of calories. If someone could figure out what it is that'd be awesome. If ya do figure it out or know it off hand msging me would be AWESOME. Its been bothering me for years. |
