Release of Bakemonogatari DVD & Blu-ray Postponed Once Again

According to Sofmap online store, the release date of Bakemonogatari Blu-ray & DVD volume 6 was postponed until June 9th. It will include the final episode 15 and was supposed to be released on March 24th.

What the.. ?
What's the point, they can just stream the 15th episode already and release blu-ray on March as planned.

I can wait, didn't mind the gap to ep14 too. If it will improve the quality of current series, I accept it :)

And 3 months is still quicker than a lot of OVAs are released.

LMAO exactly!
SHAFT is going down the drain in my eyes no matter how successful Bakemonogatari turns out. I mean, dude, deadline is deadline. Learn to stick with them!

And this is why it would be a much better idea to first finish a series, then air/sell it. No silly delays.

Quality product ? Don't make me laugh. Bakemonogatari is probably the most overrated show in ages. The whole series is nothing but a freaking slideshow plus long-ass conversations pretending to be "deep". And what was up with all the split-second flashing text all the time ? The only reason I picked it up was because of Hitagi and we didn't even get very much of her although she's supposed to be the "girlfriend". The BDs/DVDs have record sales simply because the TV version was so incomplete and maybe because people want to read the flashy text by pausing every microsecond. And now SHAFT is delaying the last episode even more, even though they should afford being on time. Fuck that I say. And don't bother reading this if you disagree.

Hey, I'd rather them take their time to finish the series and get a quality product instead of having to sit through another Nadeko Snake where over half of the climax was left un-animated.

Take that word back.

It's better than getting incompleted episodes.

Plus, I can't believe people saying that Bakemonogatari sales were only good because of unfinished episode being restored. I mean, if it was not interesting from the start, no matter how they edit it, people will not buy it... >_>

It's simple as that, 'Bakemonogatari was aimed for otaku population, and it nailed that point really well, resulted on outrageous Blu-ray sales.'

However, I agree that SHAFT should fuckin stop having postpone all the time. Get a rest, shinbou...

it's not like most bake fans outside japan are gonna buy the Dvd's and BD's anyways.

-well they should shop it around the U.S. companies to get it licensed already.

Are you trying to make a comparison? Because I don't know how twelve 50 minute episodes compare to fifteen ~20 minute episode.

At least it's not like Code Geass where there was a months-long cliffhanger. twice. ...Right?

On the other side, I usually hate waiting the months for the next episode, but after watching 14 I have forgiven it. :D

Yeah. :D
but what if that's actually the case or what they want to happen?
trying to build more hype and show off so a us company coughs up already and buys the us license.
