This entire discussion thread just pisses me off. Who cares that Albus was revealed to be Sorena's "granddaughter"? If he says he's a boy and doesn't want to be referred to as a girl then it doesn't matter who refers to him as what, he's still male unless /he/ says otherwise.

Also, yeah, yeah, wolf-dude seems cool in a flashback and suddenly seems to care about someone other than himself for once and causes everyone to forget that he kept a bunch of girls as sex slaves and abused them.

What is Albus' gender? Totally confused because at the end Wolf-kun used "him".

I mean, he would know best, right.

THANK YOU. He said he's a man so he's a man. End of discussion.

Huh, didn't expect the wolf guy to show up like that and stay but it's certainly a nice surprise.

The brat that I dislike since episode 1 is Sorena's granddaughter? And he's a 'she'? Welp, that's anime for ya.

Good Episode with lots of surprises. Thought the wolf guy is just a supporting bad guy who only have a screen-time in 1 or 2 episode, but That's quite unexpected that He's a likable good guy afterall.

Still confused about Albus's gender cuz' the Wolf guy says She's Sorena's Granddaughter, but in the end after They fall off the cliff He said "Him" instead of "Her. It might be the translation problem, but It still confuse me somehow.

Wolf dude quite the weird character, first he keeps slaves and now suddenly turned to good guy >_>
I like the fact that Thirteen can't harm Yohei.
Hope he can reunite with Zero soon.

so Albus is not a guy but a girl! and not only that, she is Sorena's Granddaughter!
good thing the beastfallen saved her!
Looks like it's a good thing that 13-ban would have a hard time dealing with Youhei because if he physically attacked him, it would also affect Zero...
So Sorena's death was a set-up and the plague isn't caused by her...culprit 13-ban again!?
4/5.

I enjoyed this one, but I was kinda hoping on some more development on Mercenary and him going into his "beast mode" thing. I hope they don't just drop that from the plot.

I can not believe that Albus is a woman, even though I already knew him from the beginning. The Holdem character, now, is less unpleasant than before.

Never thought that Wolf guy was once a nice person xD
When i first saw that girl that wolf was taking care i immediately thought that he was Albus but i never expected him to be a girl xD
Can't wait to see Zero & Youhei reunited together after they kick 13's ass.

To think Wolf Man would become an ally, and Albus was actually Sorena's granddaughter the entire time! Some crazy shit be happening up in here!

Well.. I can say that I was suspecting Albus of actually being a female, but not being Sorena's granddaughter. Also..
1. Thirteen sends out the assassins
2. Then says he wants them alive ?
3. Thirteen has no idea what an assassin is

Good episode.

I liked the wolf guy as a character very much, but found it a bit strange how, despite the trouble he caused mercenary he is so easily accepted.

Wolf-guy's backstory was great, it repaints much of what we saw of him before. I went back to look at his introduction, and it seems him saying his three slave girls were witches he was hiding from the church to be a shot at the Mercenary since he actually did sniff Zero and knew she was a witch at the time. Wolf guy even said he'd be insane to get mixed up with witches, yet kept trying to trade for Zero or win her, while Wolf guy had already been involved with witches. He must have been trying to save Zero, thinking she was a slave or something. It be more hilarious if he heard from the gate guards that the Mercenary was a pervert with sex slaves, Zero's false story of how she and Albus were associated with the Mercenary.

The only unanswered question is what was Wolf guy doing with three slave girls? Since most of what he was saying to the Mercenary back then were lies poking at knowing the Mercenary had a witch with him, and smelling the scent of Albus on Zero, I don't think Wolf Guy's story about getting the three slave girls from a village is entirely accurate. At least not accurate with how it was framed back then of him being a bad dude. I hope they explain it later on, but if they don't...I guess owning slaves in a setting where it's legal isn't totally terrible, other animes have dealt with slavery and left it at being a gray thing. It didn't look like the girls were that mistreated, it was just framed more damning back then when we were supposed to think he's a bad dude. Although when freed, the slave girls did seem thankful and left, so I guess they didn't want to be there. What I'm getting at is it didn't seem like they were motivated nor that desperate to get away from Wolf Guy. They were even holding onto him, but they did seem to have a submissive look. From what we know of Wolf Guy now, it doesn't seem like he's the guy who would beat them though.
