| Oh damn, it's already time? This was one of very few titles I've been actually looking forward to see. Although the beginning was pretty confusing when it comes to sides, seems like it does feel like 2199. I've been worried about staff changes but maybe it won't turn out like usual. |

Especially when it comes to cel-shading, texture work and depth of field of the ships. The 2199 series is still very good though. For example, (unsure if that needs a spoiler tag, better safe than sorry for others that haven't seen this episode yet). I can also see quite a lot of post processing work in the other effects. Simple effects like sparks and afterburners are a noticeable step up. All the way up to the larger effects like explosions. Overall, it's a very clean presentation and the high end art reflects this. So, that leads me to believe either, and I say this without being disrespectful, your eyes need to get checked out, your expectations are set way too high, or get a better quality version that doesn't look like a potato. Rather than saying "it looks terrible", it would be best to give some examples. |

For me, these two episodes we have so far are a good start to a conclusion and continuation of the 2199 series. My eyes are ok and so is my taste That's debateable. If I don't compare 2202 with any other show, I still stand by my reasons in my first post in that is a clean presentation. I have whole bunch of 80s 90s even 70s shows to compere with modern ones and modern ones mostly fail Then why are you even here? I haven't seen any constructive examples from you as to why this show fails. |

| HOW THE FUCK DID I MISS THE SUBS GETTING UPLOADED!?!? What a way to kick off 2202. I can't even find words to convey how excited I am Yamato is back. The 1st season is one of the most well packaged series I've seen in years. |
| I though the original was far from a masterpiece or all the praise some sing it to be. Definitly very enjoyable but not that impactful for me. Didnt have many expections for S2, but so far I m very happy with this, looks promising enough. |

| Damn that was freaking amazing, I've waited quite some time until it completely finished to be able to marathon it! And now it's finally time to let the Uchuu Senkan Yamato rise again! I really hoped to hear Isao Sasaki singing the ED as his version was just brilliant, and to be honest found it a bit of a shame they didn't go with his version but damn what an amazing first episode of this season! Really looking forwards to see what this season has to offer! |

| Got my Yamato BD's and my body is ready for this awesomeness. First episode did not disappoint with non stop action and tension. Just awesome. Predictably, the Earth's politicians have not kept the promise made to the IScandar sisters and have developed another even more powerful wave motion gun. Why do I get the feeling that the Andromeda will be pointing its guns at Yamato sooner. |
