The Ghost in the Shell
| So, me and my friend have been wanting to go see the live action since before it came out (cuz you know, everything related to anime among normie stuff is something to be hyped about) and while he didn't even start watching the originals yet, I already watched 1995 and 2015. My question is: which other anime do I have to watch to be able to go: "oh, that thing is from that part of the anime" while watching the live action? No spoilers please :) |

| I haven't seen the live action film yet, but it allegedly also draws from the 2004 sequel film: https://myanimelist.net/anime/468/Ghost_in_the_Shell_2__Innocence Not to be confused with Ghost in the Shell 2.0, which is a re-release of the '95 film with some CG added. You don't need to see that. |
