| Wow, those are some top-notch visuals! LOVE the rich colours and lighting, and the little bits of animation we've seen seem solid. This doesn't seem to reveal much of the story, but I know the source has a good reputation in that regard. Hope this adaptation does it justice! |

No Rea route and mixing (unless is just other stories and flashback) doesn't give me much hope. I mean, Marie route is amazingly good and probably works the best if they only had to adapt one of them since Rea has a lot of buildup from other routes as well and that's why the climax is so strong, but I fail to see how they could adapt it without a big budget, and this one looks mid tier looking at the trailers. Will watch regardless for seeing Rusalka, Wilhelm, Reinhard, Mercurius and Valeria animated though. |

Well problem with VN is that not route give 100% story you are meant to play all the routes to get the full story so if one were to adaptive one route then some aspect won't make sense and other characters will just feel wasted so you find most studios try to mix out the routes to make it sound like full story according to them tho they will do maries route from the beginning to the end so no mix routes, although they may add some extra here and there to cover the lose ends from Kei and kasumii route |

After watching this, my consensus is I need a lot of time to get used to her new VA especially while I'm still reading the novel with Fuurin's voice. |

Kasumi had by far the worst voice actress of the entire VN, the scene where is some of the worst acting I've heard in a long time. As long as they keep Reinhard and Mercurius's VA it'll be fine. |

PV contruction was alri Not a huge fan of the artstyle for the characters in general but I guess i'm too used to G-Yuusukes art, though the poster did look better than these character pages glowing with power aura is a little off on the level of Ren sprouting wings in the earlier PV but that's not a huge issue |

I don't know much about the evolution of the German language from past to present but if it's anything like English, if it seems off/bad-anime-engrish tier to you it's probably since the source of the quotations is anywhere between 200-250 years old or so depending on how you want to count it and thus probably outdated. And the anime pv put the two lines together as if they follow one after the other when they're said quite separately in text. Und Schlag auf Schlag! | @Insertanamehere Ah, I see, thanks for posting the complete text & giving some background info about where it originated from. It indeed makes more sense this way and the grammar is better/more like today in the original text. The word "hinan" seems to be somewhat outdated however (like you wrote) - at least where I live and where I went to school, people never used this word. It translates to "upwards" or "above" or "to the top" -> high in the original English translation. Now I feel kind of ashamed that I've never read Faust^^' Oh, a great username btw ;) |

It will be utter trash if the anime is less than 24-25 episode but again like you said that much is expected and i don't expect much from the anime, it's still fan service for the VN readers to see the characters fully animated and the VN is perfect as it is |
