| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Great episode. I like that the 'real' world is still featuring in the story, the impact of both worlds on each other through missing people is really compelling stuff. I wonder what happened to the kid that made him come back with blood on his face? I almost punched a fist into the air when I saw that evil granny was dead. And that Sanshi is one freaky looking thing. I like the change in score too, the music for the first 15 episodes was ok, but felt a bit too generic for my liking. |

Sigh... What a wicked grandmother! I almost couldn't believe it when it was clear that she made him stand in the snow. I don't get why he's so "scared" of Yuka... Seems to not want to have anyone around that might actually "get" him. And yeah, Sanshi... is definitely just a liiiittle bit scary. (I know it's 'her' duty to look after Taiki, but... she almost seemed obsessed with him... o_O) |

| Been a while since I've seen this episode/arc. I usually skip it when I watch this series. Funny how Taiki/Kaname's brother thought he was going to get laid. Like dude, seriously? Was the fact that Sugimoto seemed more interested in your brother's story not a big enough hint that she didn't go to your house for you? |

| Well this wrapped up. I fell like they may Youko vacillate unnecessarily, but I can't confirm if it's adaptation degradation. All in all, Juuni Kokuki has really managed to impress me, especially given that the beginning consisted of only tears and whys (not that that's inherently bad, it's just, the delivery...). Takasato(?)/painter kid is the missing black Kirin, no? Taika? Eh. Onwards! |
| Not really giving a shit about this Taiki guy so far, pretty uninteresting. I wish they didn't just gloss over Nakajima's ascension to the throne like its nothing. I thought it would have been a big deal but no its just the narrator telling you "yea so she became queen of Kei and that's that" like no struggle or battle to get there? how utterly disappointing, and then this Taiki guy just comes out of nowhere and I'm suddenly suppose to care about him like wtf. |
| definitely my top favorite character in this series now, although rakushun is still second. ((i agree with the comment above me though. i immediately warmed up to taiki as a new character but i definitely agree |

| @jasonvorheas24 Honestly... I agree. They did talk about the battle in the finale of the last arc, but I'm disappointed that we didn't see her reunite with her people. Instead, we switched over to this random guy that's not really compelling. |
