| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Not too shabby for a returning episode. The pacing felt similar to the previous episode and we got more buildup. What I found appealing about this episode is how there's a feeling of encouragement and sensation to succeed. Glad to see the episode didn't focus on Gion but instead on someone else. The "love letter" part got me laughing a bit. Too bad it wasn't from an an actual girl D: Hoping to see more action again soon on the field. Sekizan is a cool guy~ |

| Very nice episode. :D Didn't expect Mutsumi to be that persistent in getting Sekizan to join the team. It was a really good backstory to the origins of the current Rugby club, Simple enough but well done. Was smiling towards the end when Sekizan and Mutsumi began practicing in the rain. :D The love letter thing was hilarious. Those Sekizan reactions. XD Really glad that Mutsu and Sekizan were able to make their wish of finding a passionate team when they were third years come true. :) Looks like we'll be heading into a summer training camp soon, Last summer for the third years. :( |

| New OP looks very awesome with the rugby bits. Nice backstory of Sekizan and Mutsumi. Laughed quite a bit at the love letter part. More training episodes are coming as it seems, nice. They're really good so far. Not a huge fan of the new ED. |
| That *impressive lower body muscle* tho I'm dying But Loving the new OP though I like the old better and the new ED is meh IMO Sukima Switch is pretty hard to top. |

| I liked this episode a lot also mutsumi is now my favorite character. seriously trying to trick sekizan into joining the rugby team with a fake love letter and getting a girl to go along with it has to be one of the best pranks ever. |

| This was a cool Mutsumi episode. I already like Sekizan and Gion since they feature so much and have strong personalities, but so far Mutsumi was just the nice, friendly guy in the background. I gained a lot of respect for him after seeing how determined and passionate he was about getting Sekizan to play rugby and turn the team into something they could be proud of. Also, hearing the sound ring out as he struck those poles again and again when he practiced his tackles in the rain gave me chills. I wouldn't want to be in his way if he ever really got mad... |

| I like the opening. The episode felt kinda not engaging that much, the backstory was too simple for my liking but it was effective. Looks like Suwa is getting some character development from the opening. |

| The new opening is not as amazing as the first. I wish they kept that. If Dragon Ball Super has kept its for 72 episodes (and it's amazing too), I guess anyone can afford to keep one for more than 12. First-Year Hachi was very annoying. I don't know how Sekki resisted from punching him. Hachi's reaction when Sekki said rugby is an "half-assed" sport was exactly the reaction I would have. Despite his awkward behaviour with Sekki, I really respected this moment. The letter joke spoiled it, even if it was quite funny to watch. Overall the episode was one of the best until now, in my opinion. Summer camp, two magical words *heart eyes* |

| Nice flashback, Sekizan was so cold back then xD Basically, they revived the rugby club. Those were probably hard times, having only 2 players of 15 needed. Mutsumi is a very nice guy. |

| A little history, I like it. Also makes me wish Sekizan kept his old hair... I don't mind his current hair except for those damned white curly things whatever they are. He'd be totally hot without it. Also loving the new OP & ED! |

| Yay new OP and ED! Both are as good as the first half of the season! Nice episode to flesh out how the Cap and Hachi became the foundation of the team it is today. |

| Definitely like the new OP and ED as much as the ones before. It was nice to get some more background of Sekizan and Mutsumi, how they met each other and how Sekizan finally ended up joining the rugby team. Mutsumi was such a troll with the love letter of his sister :D For both of them it must feel awesome now having so many motivated guys on the team. The first 2 years with the upper class members who didn't give a shit about rugby must have been frustrating. |
