| One thing that bothered me tho. Demons die when their head is cut off. Didn't "on of twelve moon" cut off his sister's head ? Why is she alive ? |

Yeah, now that makes sense... but by extention of that logic, it could be that the "twelve moon guy" is not dead yet. Because it's not really "a blade" that cut through his neck, but rather a spirit force? or whatever that was... |

| I thought Tomioka will be the one to kill the 12 demon moon. I didn't expect it to be Tanjiro after his sword got broken. Damn! how can I even forget this scene? I watched the anime of it! I guess I stored too much scenes on my head since I watch a lot of anime at the same time. Not to mention the mangas I read too. |

| Yet another solid battle, although I had to really stretch my sense of disbelief for this chapter. I wonder what the purpose of destroying Tanjiro's blade was, if he could use it just fine anyway. I thought we would get some tension out of it, seeing how it would require Tanjiro to utilize more of an indirect approach to killing the demon that didn't involve him using his arsenal of OP martial arts moves on his enemies. The fight would've been unchanged if the blade didn't break, and it wouldn't have made things harder to take seriously. I was sensing high levels of JoJo asspulls near the end as well. Coincidentally, the demon blood got onto his sword, making it so he could slice through the demon's neck easier. That's pretty convenient, isn't it? It was also weird how the author had to narrate what was going on too so he could retcon Nezuko's blood burning all of the threads away. I really hate the fact the author has regressed to his old ways--retconning and on-the-nose subtlety. I would really like to see what's happening and not have it explained to me through text as if I were a child. The fight itself was good and I really enjoyed the little bit of backstory we got. I do wonder though, what did Tanjiro mean by "Even if we have to kill each other?" That made it imply that Tanjiro was fighting his dad, which is clearly not the case. Regardless, Shinobu is coming through, which is good. Manga went from strong 4 to light six. |
| Even though I feel the whole fire thing being established right before it's use in battle is a bit cheap, I do like how it tied into Nezuko's demon blood art, and I like them both delivering the final blow to him, using her explosions as a propulsion to aid in the decapacitating is a pretty cool (or I guess hot) finish to the encounter. |
