Good episode, we get to see the best from the competition with foodgasm results. Alice's little background storytelling with Ryou is also amusing imo. Even Erina is impressed. Very creative with the way they used their fish.  |

Their reactions didn't seem stronger with souma's dish than hayama's or kurokiba's. I think if he does win, the reason will be hes the main character and because the script (manga) demands it, but I wouldn't feel it would be deserved. The other dishes were just as great or even better. we'll see next week I guess. To me personally kurokiba seemed the winner, souma dish felt kinda not so special, fermented fish and rice hmm... did you watch after the ending ? |

| Epic episode, Loved the all the dish presentations. Each and every one of them gave me chills. I so wanna taste them. Alice is so cute as a kid. Nice flashback. When Alice said her Mom was gonna go baring, I was wondering if that would actually happen XD. Didn't expect it would just change her speech pattern. I think I'm a little disappointed in a way XD Her foodgasm for Akira was good :3 When Souma walked up to present his dish I couldn't help but grin, Soma's dish presentation have this real exciting feel to them, Probably cause I'm always interested in what he's gonna do to even the odds against the other amazing dishes. Interesting portrayal of the 3 candidates, Ryo is explosiveness, Hayama is finesse and Soma is well, I can't find an exact word for him (Simplistic innovation maybe?). I'll just go with hybrid of the other two. It was really nice to see all the judges smile when Souma unveiled his dish. :D No bare chest from the director for Souma :O, The judges claim his creativity wasn't on the same level as the other two. Souma's still got another trick up his sleeve though. Can't wait for the next one, I'm assuming Souma wins since he's, well, the MC, but it'll still be entertaining to see how he does it. |

| I haven't anticipated an episode like this in a very long time, and this episode's ending carries that excitement over again. Can't wait for the next episode. This show really does well in capturing your attention, If this show had already finished airing I'd probably marathon the entire thing in a day. |

| Great episode, that after ed scene is so annoying because it makes me want to continue watching. Three way battle is coming to an end next episode it seems, I wonder who's gonna take it, it will be close. 5/5 |

| I thought this final match would last a bit longer, but I guess they just wanted to get that cliffhanger in there to make sure people come back next week. All the dishes looked great, I'm really excited to see what Souma's last ace in the hole is. Lol at Alice's mom's Japanese becoming perfect when she eats something delicious. |

| That was an enjoyable episode and we even got all three dishes this episode. Seems like the producer has something else in mind for the final episodes. Really expected them to drag it out one more episode than it is going to be now. Also that end really had me smiling. I did not expect such a good reaction to his dish after the first two were complimented that much. I'm really unsure how this is going to turn out. On the one hand Souma is the main character and the MC rarely loses a battle in Shounen story-writing. On the other hand I can totally imagine them taking this route. In any case I expect Kurokiba to lose. It is either Souma or Hayama who is going to win first place. I hope it is Souma just because those other two were way too arrogant. It's fine to be confident but they basically keep bashing anyone they are fighting against. Hayama is not quite as bad as Kurokiba with the bashing but he has to learn a lesson, too. edit: man the after credits scene... Just serve the damn dish how it's supposed to be eaten. Why do they keep doing this? |
