| Finally, someone who can "help" Tanjiro. And a Demon appears, it looks troublesome. That's because of the fast pacing of the manga. I hope it will slow down a bit. |
| Zenitsu got conned into the demon business and desperate for marriage and now a drum beating demon shows up. |

| A fun supporting character is just what the series was missing. Really liked Tanjiro's reaction and his facial expression. But would have liked more interactions with the pair before encountering the next enemy. The pacing really is the series biggest flaw so far. |

| I found Zenitsu pretty annoying but I liked Tanjiro's reactions towards him at least, think the chapter ended up more fun than annoying so that's a plus. I liked the Zenitsu seemed to register the sounds before Tanjiro did. Five children passed the selection, Tanjiro has a strong sense of smell and it appears Zenitsu has a strong sense of sound. I'm guessing the other three that passed have strong sight, touch, and taste. |
