| At first, I thought I had seen too many identical scenes where the good guy dies pierced by many arrows. But the moment it came up here was still nice 4/5 The way all those chapter discussions starts is slowly getting to my nerves. |

| Thors and his crew were already doomed as soon as they got trapped in that narrow waterway. At any point Askeladd could have just ordered his archers to shoot everyone. He just wanted to play with Thors a bit and found that he was a man among men. But Thors managed to somehow negotiate the survival of everyone else (so it seems) in exchange for his own life. That's incredibly honorable. Hopefully out of respect to a warrior of Thors' caliber, Askeladd will actually honor that request and let them go unharmed. Well, all of them except Thorfinn apparently. Who I am now thinking chose to stay to be close to Askeladd so that he could kill him one day. |
