Only got two series that I downloaded. One of them I have already finished. I'm keeping them for emergencies.

I mainly watch streams because whenever I want to watch anime, I'm home anyways.

I have these downloaded completely by chance, I don't like downloading. I prefer streaming.

I have no space on my computer due to games, my own videos etc.
I have all of a few series that were pre-installed on my computer like Cowboy Bebop, Gundam etc. and a few Ghibli films.
Other than that I just have a few loose episodes I downloaded for whatever reason in the past.

Streaming is pain to me and usually I use torrents. I do see the difference in quality between streamed video and downloaded and I hate to depend on my browser.
Talking about the space anime takes... it's about 2TB. Some of the shows I'll delete after they let me down and some will keep forever *_*

Personally; I have never downloaded anime. I prefer the streaming method. Netflix seems to be adding a lot more titles lately so that's good news for me!

I do not count animes that i have downloaded. But, it's a lot. Around 12Tb External HDD full of Bluray rips anime, and 500GB on my computer full of 720p anime. There's like tons of series that i've downloaded but i have not finished watching all the animes.

I no longer stream than I used to because our internet here is shitty and ridiculously expensive.

Had downloaded around 50 series as I can recall until my former PC broke unexpectedly and I have yet to recover them in my hard drive if it's still possible. I unfortunately didn't have an external HDD that time, so I'm gonna buy one sometime.

I'm still bringing the numbers back and I've downloaded 13 series as of this post...

The size doesnt say that much because it varies a lot depending on the definition you are downloading the series.I have downloaded around 600gb in this computer but its all in 480p meaning its at least 3 times the anime compared to someone who has 600gb in 1080p. Wish i could also watch at 1080p though ^_^

I have 140gb on DVDs and 60gb on my PC. I mostly download .mp4 files from certain sites. I never stream anime because I don't want to and I can't afford streaming services. But, I do watch anime on TV on a channel called 'Animax'. Its a 24 hour anime channel. No ads, and only one 1-minute break. Plus they also show Japanese music videos after every anime ep ends, so that's a bonus.

The rest is on DVDs

If the anime or movie has a sequel or TV series, its in the respective franchises' folder.

Almost all shows have been downloaded, only very little shows are streamed.

Some guesstimation math here...

currently 492 completed and usually 12 eps and probably around 300mb per ep...

I'd say 1.7 TB.

Not much. 157 GB.

(Includes per season icons as well... lol.)

I just download a few series I handpick from my list and get to watching. Already finished Clannad / DBZ / DB GT / OreImo (Also already seen High School DxD, but I wanted to rewatch it, subbed instead of dubbed.). I don't think I'll delete them though, might just keep for potential rewatching. I plan to get a hard drive soon for media solely. (Not mainly for anime, but rather for video recordings of gameplay for yt and such. But may as well put anime on it too, away from my main drive.)

Especially rather not delete stuff that took forever to download. I also stream though in conjunction. My internet is fine, but I just prefer local. Servers aren't always the best from what I've experienced amongst sites and I end up getting buffering/lag.

I really love it when there are folder icons for anime series. I kind of have a OCD for naming most of my anime in their original Japanese titles, searching for the best folder icons and just looking at them. Makes me feel.... accomplished, I guess.

Your collection with the icons looks awesome!!

Thanks! And damn I know how you feel man. I got OCD too and I might end up doing the same thing with the titles (but I just hate how messy it'd look cuz of those long named LNs).

233 GB of movies.

70 GB of series.

Azumanga Daioh
The Big O season 1
Cowboy Bebop
Future Boy Conan
Gundam 0080
Oruchuban Ebichu
Tatami Galaxy

I wouldn't have deleted so many of the ones I had if my storage hadn't been so limited back then. I wanna redownload some of them eventually, now that I have a huge archive of movies and some TV shows.

I don't store anime, I delete them after I watch them. Used to collect everything I watched on 4 hard drives but when they started crashing one after the other I didn't want to have to buy 4 new hard drives every 2 years or so so I just stopped. I'd probably need like 10 hard drives by now anyway. It was already 2TB+ back then and I was at maybe 700 anime on my list.

As for what I have downloaded and ready to watch, usually a handful of series (not counting airing shows) and another handful of movies/OVAs. Along with western movies and series. My download folder is pretty diverse. But I try not to get overzealous and download a million series in advance. Never found that to be necessary, if I have a few options to start + all my currently watching stuff I usually always find something I want to watch.

I probably downloaded like 20-30TB of anime over the decades. Mayb 2 TB per year? Hard to say though since I use my Vuze stats for that and it of course also includes non-anime downloads.
I probably regret this post by now.

I have 100+ GB worth of anime series (720p whenever possible) which I plan to watch. But most of them are just freaking 12 or 24 episodes long so I am not even close to being a "pro downloader".

20+ GB worth of anime movies (again 720p). However here, I am not planning to delete them. Could be useful as recreational activity with some of friends in future.

35+ GB worth of manga but there are like 10 times more titles compared to the anime. Also plan to delete them once read.

And finally maybe 100+ MB of anime OSTs.

Honestly, knowing my internet speed (128KBps max), I am awestruck by how much I managed to download in a span of 2 months.

I have like 500gb of anime, but having that much downloaded is sorta annoying, you don't know what to watch next so I have plenty accumulated shows and On-hold ones lol

But my internet is shit, so I can't stream unless it's 3 a.m
Have waited till that time to stream some, but that routine is tiring, so I'll rather staying with my compulsive accumulation.

Second of all, WHAAAT THHHHHEE FUUUUUUUUUUUUCKKKKKKK !!!!! (*〇□〇)……!

Amazing collection though. I'm impressed you have the money and space for those DVDs. I also prefer burning anime on DVD instead of the HDD.

2959 entries (TV, movies, specials, OVAs etc), 718 days' worth, approx. 20TB as of writing. All on 5 full HDDs and a sixth that I started filling recently.

Also @DmonHiro your collection is backup goals, how much did those DVDs set you back? Blank -R DVDs have become more expensive in my country recently, probably because they aren't used as much.
