English, obviously.

I can read spanish alright but I can't understand it when someone speaks fast and I can't speak it at all.

Been sort of learning a few other languages like German for a while.
Getting to where I don't need subs on Werner Herzog's films.

Spanish is my native language, even though I was born in the United States. Obiously as you can see, I speak English.

In regards to other languages, I speak in a B1/B2 level of French.

In the future, I'd like to speak my family's native dialect of Galician (Spanish dialect from the northwest region of Spain, Galicia), possibly German, Italian, and Japanese.

At the end, I'd like to become a Polyglot.

English, German, Icelandic, and a little bit of Dutch and Danish.

Technically English is my main language as I've been speaking for almost my whole life. Culturally, German is my native language, but I prefer English.

I used to speak spanish, or at least understand it a lot more than I do now. So I guess I can't really say I'm bilingual anymore. I started to learn some German a while back, so I may pick that up again.

Fluent in English, can speak Russian (though my grammar is bad, but I am Russian American), studied Italian for three semesters, can have simple conversations in Spanish, and know a few words in French and Japanese.

Speaking Spanish, especially, has been incredibly useful.

Can you ???

As in you are a native English speaker , but you also are fluent in French and understand it , and so and so...

In my case , i can speak both Spanish and English , as well as understand it , with the former being my native language.

I'm not 100% perfect in my english but i would say im at least 79%.

I would also love to learn Italian and French .

Do you want to learn a different language?

My native is Bahasa Indonesia (I live in Indonesia, Asia)

And I'd like to think I'm good enough in english to be called fluent. Not too sure about my pronounciation tho since I mostly used English for writing and reading.

Also, I've been studying Japanese for four years now. My Japanese is not as good as English yet but in terms of pronounciation, I'm more fluent in Japanese than English.

I also can read Arabic because I'm a moslem and I have to be able to read arabic to read and understand the Al-Qur'an (It's what Bible is to Christian in case you're wondering)

My native language is English. I'm currently in university to be a Spanish teacher so there's that.
Aside from that, I took 3 years of Japanese in high school, French from Kindergarten to grade 8, and a German class in grade 9.

My native language is English. My parents both speak Portuguese so I'm also fluent in that. I did take some Spanish classes in high school but I thought those were too easy and dropped halfway through the path lol, so I can understand Spanish but not speak that well. I also know some weeb from a semester of Japanese.

English is native language.

Can speak korean at an elementary level. Can't read it unfortunately. Understand A LOT of it.

Can read, speak, and understand japanese at an elementary level (although that is rapidly declining. pretty rusty).

Interested in picking up Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, Russian, and German but doubt it anytime soon. My drive to learn a language is pretty low much less finding a person to practice with.

I would normally say that I can speak english since I've studied it for more than 10 years and I have a C1 certificate, but recently I've found out that my english sucks so hard I can't even introduce myself without making a ton of grammatical mistakes.

So... my native language is bulgarian, my second language is japanese and I speak a bit of german. That's it I guess.

English is my second language since I took ESL classes until 7th Grade.
The language I speak at home is Spanish since my parents come from Latin America.
I'm currently learning French.
I studied some German about 9 years ago but I forgot some words. I would like to review the language again.

English is my secondary language and i am proud to say i can speak them as how i would speak in my first language.

However, there is a case where people would tend to use english when speaking to someone else, even if they share the same native language.I don't like this, as it detriment the native language. I mean, why would they speak in different language when they share the same native language?
It's time to play the Game folks!

English is my mother tongue, but not my native language.

My native language is Cantonese, and I also speak Mandarin Chinese.

At school (I go to a private/international school), we use English, primarily, and also Mandarin Chinese.

Only my English is good, really.

Ja, ich spreche Deutsch ganz gut.
J' aussi parle un peu français.
I speak English very well, lol. I write all of my research papers in English.
There is also my native language. I know it very well, but it's hard to express myself in it.
So, 4 languages in total and I may need to learn Japanese in the future and it will not be for weaboo reasons.

I can speak Filipino, English, and a little bit of Bahasa. I would like to learn French, Spanish, Latin, Japanese, Russian, and German.

Food for thought:

I think it's interesting how most of us don't remember how to think without language, how to think without the narrating voice in our head. Surely, we were thinking before we learned language? Surely a person who never learns a language still thinks?

Does language put constraints on thoughts, or does it open up for more possibilities?

I think languages both put constraints on thoughts and open up possibilities. For example we cannot fully convert into hard semantics the nature of emotions and feelings of varying degrees, intuition, the reverie of Godly like presence, awe, wonder, or when people talk about enlightenment etc. although to some extent we can transcend it into others through forms of art, poetry, & music.
However, language does open up more possibilities because you can share your reflections to other people and be able to work and unite for a common cause. It also gives a sense of objectivity.
