| I think red and pink nail polish look the best and apparently most guys who notice think the same. I think if you use nail art then you look like you're trying too hard. Solid colors tend to look the best, although some simple patterns can look pretty too. If your nail polish is chipped then it looks like you don't care much about your appearance. It's better to not wear nail polish than for it to be chipped. I'm male so I don't wear nail polish. |

| Uh, I hardly ever paint my nails, but it's a coincidence that I bought nail polish yesterday for the first time in years only to see this thread. The colors never really meant anything to me. Heck, I was debating between dark brown and glitter purple but went with brown anyway even though it's kinda redundant for my skin tone. The brown says nothing, lol. My grandpa used to wear nail polish (I think just clear) on his toes because he said it strengthens the nails and helped him avoid nails breaking in his socks and such-- a problem I often have and I don't paint my nails like ever, ha hah. I have a feeling I'll probably never use the nail polish I have. |

| Never really cared for nail polish, had a gf who would have fancy designs and the like on her nails. It looked interesting I guess. I don't mind it as long as the colours are subtle, and don't stand out all that much. Once they have bring pink, yellow, orange.. Etc. It can be quite distracting and weird too look at. |

| During my school months, I don't put any because rules. However during summer I enjoy putting nail polish. My favorites are the semi-transparent white and silver glittery ones. I like glitter. I also have mixed color nail polish like this: They're literally awesome. Sometimes I enjoy painting a first layer of nail polish, and then put the glittery layer. I also have these They need some time to put on because they're kind of tricky to manage, but it's worth it. |
