Sorry, he didn't get to penetrate her for now.

You want to see her bleed? Just wait for that time every month.

Action packed episode. I enjoyed how innovative Tekkadan can be. We also got introduced to Nena Trinity 2.0 lol and an all-female team. This won't probably end well.

Space... The final frontier....

The strategy between captains reminded me of Star Trek and Star Wars space fights...

A ballad between both parties is the only thing that comes to mind to describe this battle choreography and is was beautifully done to see the struggles of Tekkadan Akihiro is a beast fighting not one but 2 mobile suit (piloted by seasoned pilots) and was able for the most part to hold on... Mikazuki struggles to keep up with Lafter mad skills... It was the right choice to infiltrate the enemy ship by Orga because they were in a tight pinch and I bet that Orga foresaw this thus making the decision to invade to negotiate (This is the best quality of Orga a true leader indeed).

Amida has a nice body god damn!! Man there is nothing more sexy than a female pilot and if more there is crew of female pilot better... It remind me of Macross all female Zentradi fleet... Maximilian Jenius would agree with me. Lol!

As a long time mecha fan I'm glad that this show is showing the quality of this genre when done right... and the best things is we have 18 episodes left to enjoy this show!

Refreshingly entertaining and none of this main character being overpowered or having an overpowered model 2 in the garage ...

The bombshell Lafter Frankland appears. Kudelia and Atra get a bit jelous so they provide us with their own fan service.

Naze Turbine and his harem are after something but I'm not sure of it. Orga always get his way. Mikazuki and Tekkadan make sure of it.

Naze has a wife but Lafter's "darling" surely can't be him as well?

Maruba's next inline to get the Todo treatment. These martian orphans sure are tough.

I know there is a massive bias against mecha anime in MAL, but the score of this show is a crime compared to some others this season. Week in and week out, this series is delivering the goods. Best Gundam TV series in a long, long time IMO.

It's not a light novel or visual novel thing what is what most viewers would tune into nowadays so what are you going to do. I've been making this point for a while now (kind of pleasantly surprised to see I'm not the only one that notices it) that it's next to impossible for a mecha anime to be well received by the current stock of Western anime fans let alone watched really because there's just such tremendous bias against it, but the standards of the genre this show is doing godly. It's just never going to get the kind of viewership even something like Heavy Object (which IMO is pretty terrible btw) would. Not the 2000's anymore and Gundam doesn't really mean much to Western anime fans.

Just as a comparison, still looking to crack 5,000 viewers here, one of the most popular shows of the season over in Japan and doing better than pretty much anything in preorders for this week, managing to generate a fair bit of fair art and plenty of positive discussion. Like I said it is what it is, kind of funny even the stark difference. If people don't want to watch it just because it has mecha in it and they think that makes a show automatically bad or lesser than that's there choice.

For some reason it's not that popular on MAL, but in other places its quite popular. I think the rating has also jumped significantly (it started at 7.3?). Even Shirobako was sub 8 until the last couple of episodes so I think as long as this show keeps up the momentum it'll easily hit 8.2+ as we go into the 2nd cour.

No it started at 7.77. Its only risen a bit. Kind of criminal given how good its been. But yeah it will definitely rise a lot especially when it finishes airing it will get a nice boost (people who dropped it early their votes wont count).

The thing I like most about this episode was the fact that it showed the barbatos isn't some Overpowered mecha that can own anything like almost every fight before this one. Mika was getting his ass handed to him almost that whole fight and the other pilots were really struggling too.

This new group of female pilots kick major ass and looks like they're very experienced too. I like how Tekkadan won the battle by that smoke and boarding the enemy strategy they seemed to bail out the mecha pilots who were struggling like hell against the female ace pilots.

Well even though that happened white suit guy seem like his mind was changing anyway after he found out that the orphans had been forced into those surgeries if nothing else after he hears their story he'll be more sympathetic and possibly join up with them or become an ally? Which would be huge ..

Its intersting that the plot seems so simple now at least for Tekkadan anyway. For now thy're just trying to complete their mission of escorting Kudelia right? I imagine though that their going to get dragged into whatever enivitable political conflicts arise though somehow, seeing they've already had some dust ups with Gallahorn at least and they're transporting someone of major political importance as well.

Wow. This episode is simply amazing.

It pretty much included everything that's great about this series. The fanservice was nice but it wasn't overdone, thankfully. It's been a while since we've had a decent Gundam series, and this is exceeding my expectations!

I'm starting to really love the OP and ED. The ED especially just makes me smile whenever it starts playing.

Really, this series is underrated. I'm sure many people are blowing it off just because of the Gundam name.

I hope Lafter lives for a long, long, long time. The nail polish scene spoke volumes to me. She also seems more of a blatant blood knight. I look forward to finding out about her mech too.

Bravi! An episode rather nice, that great battle, what warmth, the beautiful youth! During the narration has shown a great battle, with a schedule of the various stages that leave little to chance and to criticism. The story seems to go well even if the pace is slow, the quality of the drawings satisfactory, the CG was not bad. After this episode, I immediately see the next; alas it is not possible!

From the interactions between Orga, Mika, and Biscuit to Naze's general personality, to the new female characters, to the superb battle choreography... this episode was just great. I'm not sure if Tekkadan will be able to ally with the Turbines for certain, but invading their ship was definitely an interesting move. I'm glad the capital ships are remaining as relevant as they are, and the non-dominance of the Gundam frame is pretty refreshing too.

Wow. Loved it.

An all female team of sexy as fuck pilots led by a pimp like guy with an even more pimp like name? Freaking perfect. The fanservice was tasty but we all know that the real pr0n was the mecha battle: great choreography, interesting tactics, animation on point, BGM on point... Seriously, why is this show so good?

I'm still a sucker for every interaction between Orga and Mika: I love the fact that contrary to what first impressions might lead one to believe, Mika's opinions and feelings are essential for Orga to determine what choices to make regarding the rest of the group. It was already hinted when Orga devised a plan to overtake the CGS facility, and it is further reinforced in this episode during the talks with Naze Turbine: one look and one phrase of disapproval from Mika were enough for Orga to completely drop any further attempt at negotiation. I'm srsly lovin' it.

Yeah, shows like this are why I can't take the MAL ratings seriously. It's not the personal score so much as it is the score relative to other shows that are objectively far worse.

Is it really that hard for you people to understand that not the same exact audience will watch this show and some silly LN otaku pampering adaptation or a shoujo with bishies?
The first crowd is not the type that gives 10 to a show just from being hyped. SAO got hundred of people giving it 10 before it even aired it's first episode(that a reason many got upset from SAO fans). Same happens with this shoujo shows were fangirls give 10 from the first episode just because some bishie boys are gonna are shown.
This kind of anime watchers aren't gonna watch a show like this. The people that are gonna watch a show like this are people that criticize what they see and many of them do not even put a score until they've fully seen the show and have a full image of it etc.
Is like wondering why a great political movie didn't get as much great rating as Twilight while it first aired.
Is simple why, because it had mostly serious critical people watching it and not a horde of brainless silly teenage girls. People like this to not throw 10 for something they haven't fully seen and they to not consider
7 as bad rating but as good as it actually is on Mal system.
For me this show is currently an 8 but i haven't scored the show yet and my 8 means exactly what Mal says. "Very good" not "well it wasn't that horrible" like most users avoiding this shows and watching LN adaptations only usually rate.
Your frustration over the grating compare to other shows is pointless because is not the same viewers rating the other shows that will rate this.

I prefer to see a score 7 that really makes sense than a 10 just because the anime is the hype of the year or another stupid reason that sometimes they give to shows that have nothing interesting at all .
If this franchise gives me what i expect i'll rate with a good score, but on the other hand, if disappoints me, the score won't be good.

Even though Orga is the leader and Mika doesn't really seem to get involved in the management of Tekkadan, Mika actually has a lot of power since Orga bases every major decision on Mika's feelings and opinions. I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that Mika is actually well aware of this and maybe kind of uses it to his advantage-- he gets what he wants without having to take responsibility for making the decision. I mean, he made his comment about not wanting to be separated right at that particular moment, when he hadn't spoken up before and wasn't even involved in the discussion, and then Orga ends the negotiations right after. As much as I love Mika and Orga's loyalty to each other, it's a pretty worrying dynamic and bound to cause major conflict later on.

Naze's crew looks like it's all-female, which is great to see, I'm always a fan of more female pilots in mecha shows. I was also worried we'd see Akihiro die this episode, thankfully he didn't, but this is Gundam so I'm sure Tekkadan character deaths are coming... :(

The fan service was kinda weird and the Turbines were kind of out of place distracting, in a way. The one girl who kept talking about eating and comparing everything to sex stuff was just weird. These things seem strange in what started as a pretty dark show (though a lot of it has been pretty light too). I feel like the fights here should be dark and serious to contrast with the kids being kids; that's how this child soldier thing works.

Anyway, it wasn't actually a bad episode at all. The action was really good. Naze reminds me of Jarlaxle from the Drizzt books.

If you see that my post is exactly 1 month old (or more) from when it was posted... Don't waste your time, especially when you want to reply with something petty & insignificant. Assume that I've moved on (because I have).
