i'd say china.

i'd say china too. the country itself has a huge population, and most city kids grew up with anime there since chn cartoons are shit. you could almost make a reference to any big works like one piece, and most young people'd get it.
&liking anime isn't really seen in a negative light either, unlike japan itself or north america. unless you're a lolicon or smth, then prepare for harsh judgement

In Germany the community is getting bigger and bigger.. Here is every week a Con somewhere.. some small, some big like the Yearly Japan Day in Düsseldorf (its not all about Anime/Manga.. more about Japan as a whole) with 500.000 Visitors and a lot of Cosplayers.

There's a huge pile of animes that has been dubbed in French. It's quite popular here, but I can't compare to other countries since I don't know that much about them.

Taiwan if you treat it as a country. There's a high chance if you speak Japanese there, someone can communicate with you.

Exactly this, I go to Taiwan frequently and honestly it feels like a second Japan. The culture and interests are extremely similar there.

Here in Brazil we have a considerable amount of dubbed anime (mainly 90s) and some specialized manga publishers resulting in a wide variety of titles and releases.

Anime and manga events occur every month all over the country and some of them exceed 120 thousand visitors.

Then I say that this "culture" is pretty popular here in Brazil

Yeah. Plenty of Filipinos and Indonesian teens I meet have had their fair share of anime more than those from EUs and USs so I'm assuming it must be more popular there.

and people of my gneter ration Filipinos im 30 i say my gen is 30-45 yeras old hold one anime hgiher than most for reason mentioed before

There are TONS of anime conventions every year in the Philippines. In my city alone, the anime community hold conventions once a month or every two months. I'm not active but my Facebook wall always seem to be popping up with news of that.

Although I would have to agree on pirating stuff (and internet downloads), you also have to count the Saturday anime shows in local channels. Adding to that, the two biggest TV networks compete with their own dose of daily anime in the mornings/afternoons. The shows are dubbed in Filipino, too.

I guess Filipinos warmly embracing the anime industry is one of the reasons why Toei has an animation branch in the Philippines? (I could be wrong, though)

Yeah, most of key animation and CG from One Piece and Precure are drawn in e Philippines. A lot of shows are dubbed too. Some of the Filipino voice actors for popular Japanese shows are also approved by the staff of the anime. (One Piece)

I'd say Phils is anime very popular but not that supportive to the industry.

Yes, until Sony destroyed it.

Anime is popular along the nerd people in my country. In other hand, anime industry here is almost dead, with no DVD/Bluray releases (although there is some new anime stuff in Netflix, like The Seven Deadly Sins).
