| I got shivers, Kurama is a maniac. He's the coolest character in the show, sure Yusuke has some of the most gar moments, and Hiei's Vegeta attitude and one shots are cool, but jesus christ. Man is so ready to torture someone for eternity in a heart beat, and he's always hella cool, calm and collected. That ED is fantastic, it helped that ending moment. Yuyu Hakusho has grown on me a lot since I started watching. Didn't like the first arc, thought dark tournament was alright(liked the characters not the fights), but chapter black is one of my favorite watches in a long time. If the whole show was like this I'd recommend it to everyone. It has its flaws but it's a really great adventure. |

This episode and the last have showcased him so well, both his fighting style and his overall character. Beautiful stuff. On that note, Kuwabara definitely got a lot of development during the Dark Tournament resulting in him having less to do here. Kurama having more of the spotlight instead I think is great and makes things more well-rounded throughout the main cast. |

| God Kurama is just on a roll with these last couple of episodes. I mean he just literally destroyed Goument but appear all else, dooms Elder Toguro who was the real puppet master of that particular physic to suffer in his own vice and sin with a tree he planted in him from the start. I generally didn’t know that Kurama was making Elder Toguro hallucinate and it was the real Kurama he was dealing with but nope just an illusion like I said. Pretty much helps that the smoke he used in the fight covered what he was really doing from our point of view to make it look like Elder Toguro is winning the fight but twists around to reveal that Kurama’s fight. Yeah Yusuke is right to not want to piss him off, Kurama is that much of a badass. And even if Elder Toguro dies and regenerates again he’s just gonna suffer forever. Damn what a metal way to suffer. Such a great episode, such a great episode. |

I get this guy is dead or "got a life" or whatever, but for someone who went out of their way to post on every episode thread and score the show at a 4, he didn't pay attention to all that much. Maybe he was hypothetically speaking about the situation, but I can't imagine someone posturing himself the way he was doing that at all. Posthumously obnoxious. The episode was thoroughly enjoyable. Kurama is the best character of the series. |
