| A facial mole isn't called a beauty mark for no reason. Some people just consider it to be an attractive feature (especially around the eyes or lips). Besides it makes the character feel a bit more unique compared to the other characters in the show. Also isn't there some old wives tale that if you've a mole under your eye you'll have a life full with sorrow or something? |
| I don't mind them. In some characters (Tiky Mikk from D. Gray Man, Lancer from Fate/Zero), look good indeed. |

| I never used to think that I liked moles (I don't really have an opinion on them on people IRL at least) but then I realized a couple of my favorite characters have moles, like Masato from UtaPri or Yukio from Ao no Exorcist. I guess they can add a kind of asymmetry to a face but in a good way? |
