No, I do not want to watch Boku no Pico before anyone posts that. Requisites ~ Short-ish, 12-24 episodes of 20 mins each or similar. Basically a runtime that will keep me occupied for a night. Actually scary. Ex~ Higurashi was pretty good, but half the episodes are meant to be fun or filler. I want it to mainly focus on horror. Good art. By good, I mean most styles from 2004+. | Definitely watch the anime "Another" You also need to watch "Corpse Party" even though its only 4 episodes long. |
| I don't find any anime to be scary, but these are some good ones: Hellsing Ultimate - gore and the true vampire Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica - psychological thriller, takes some time to warm up Mnemosyne: Mnemosyne no Musume-tachi - 6 episode of 45 minutes each, there are some torture scenes and the story is interesting Gakkougurashi! - essence of Halloween... Zombiesss, one of the best anime this season Corpse Party - gore, tortures, haunted school building... perfect for midnight watch Another - lots of deaths, curse, overall a good show |

| Haven't come across any that are actually scary enough to accidentally wet yourself. But, Another is a good shout. Denpa Teki na Kanojo is okay too (2 eps) Cheers. |

| Another is a great one! There is also Higurashi with 2x24 episodes and one of the best horror anime I have seen. Hellsing Ultimate is not really a horror but it awesome as well. Make sure to check them all out sometime. |
| Another Very good and very dark. Corpe Party: Tortured Souls It's a gore-fest and that is all I have to say about it. Go watch it, you wont regret it. Hellsing Great stuff, or if you would like the more "modern" version go watch Hellsing Ultimate |
