| "yea your father will tell you some day, let's not focus on that." Well, not that I was that interested in the reason why grandfather asked directly Souma's dad to let Souma to Totsuki. In the first place Souma's dad probably was planning that anyway, to let his son develop on his own, meet rivals etc and generally he was in Totsuki and thought it was good place for a cook. Maybe there is some special reason why grandfather did ask fro Souma but it really doesn't seem that important. (why hide it then though?) As for the ending of the chapter though. What with that save the heroine in trouble? Well at least Souma's reply is something to look forward to. I can't wait for this conversation to turn from serious to stupid. |

| Asshole dad reminds me of Asshole chairman from Assessination Classroom, hell, i can even hear the same seiyuu, they just have the same elitist view upon education. I wonder what did he offered to the Elite 10 members that voted for him, and seeing that they were the secondary authority in the school, i find hard to believe that they wouldnt know why Azami was banished in the first place, so makes me wonder why would they vote to have someone to treated so badly one of their fellow members so badly in the past become director, i just need to know WHAT he offered to them in the first place. Not sure how i feel about this upcoming Erina x Souma, since i mostly root for Megumi, but lets see how things go out. |

| First year, third seat! Good lord, I knew Azami had something to do with Jouichiro and Gin. I hope, and it shouldn't, portray Erina is damsel in distress. Yeah she's in a poor situation and might need 'guiding' on the right path but surely it can't be Souma 100% save the day. |

| I wonder if, in whatever method Soma uses to go after Azami, Azami will ask for some sort of pedigree (since he probably just assumes he's some random punk from their first encounter), and then Soma's father's identity will be revealed to everyone. Seems kinda predictable, but awesome because the reactions to it would be pretty sweet. |

And Sanzeamon is right the dude was brainwashing Erina and treating her horribly to obviously achieve his own objectives here. No way in hell is Souma prepared to take down the high ranks of Elite 10 or challenge Erina's dad. Maybe Souma's going to need some kinda training arc with his dad lol |
