A girl runs down the hill and said sorry because she almost hits the biker. She's in a hurry and rode Miracle Train, and even rode in a wrong direction! She's nervous that didn't notice she's in Miracle Train. When she saw train guys, she said she might be dreaming (or just woke up).
She's now repeating what Tochou explained, but she now thinks that Miracle Train is a dating site! She wants to go to Roppongi station, so it's Roppongi's turn now. She needs to get to Roppongi at 5pm. Roppongi, from his cellphone clock, said that it's already past 5pm.
She said she did it again and is in despair. So... Miracle Train can get to wherever the customers want to go, too?
She finally believes them and said that she's Mayu. She asked them to take photo because her younger sister likes handsome men. lol~, Shiodome said she's a bit strange.
Shinjuku's so good at posing and Ryougoku is not smiling... when she asked him to smile, his smile is so awkward! Akari is worried about carefree Mayu, and Roppongi saw kurapika of her and her boyfriend (blurry face) on her cellphone.
She said thanks after sending it to her sister. Wow, she completely forgot about going to Roppongi! So, she is meeting her boyfriend at 7pm.
She said that herself is very stupid, so she always go out 2 hours prior to the meeting time. Or else, she will involve in the unexpected things and be late for the meeting. Like earlier, laundry stuff just flew to her when she just went out of her apartment and spent 30 mins to find the owner of it. Also on the way, she helped a person carrying heavy stuff to her house for 20 mins. And she spent 10 more mins to stop the kids in the station from fighting. It takes her 1 hours to get to 5mins. worth of walking to station. Shiodome commented that her worry is she doesn't know how to not being late to happen? Tochou said there might be other worries, so just look at the situation more.
She's also going to call her boyfriend she might be late, while it's still too early! She doesn't want him to wait because it might be a special day for them. Only Roppongi saw her sad smile face when she says that. Tokunaga said someone ask her directly what other worries she has, and Roppongi walked toward her. He just said Roppongi is soon. She said thanks. Shiodome commented that Miracle Train is going to be a normal Oedo-sen without taking care of her worries! Shinjuku is going to ask her. She said everyone calls her Mayu, while her boyfriend, Hideaki, calls her Mayu Mayu (it reminds me of Miyu-Miyu). Roppongi still looks at her with concern. Shinjuku then asked about the special day she said. Shinjuku guessed that it might be a propose to marriage day. She said he guessed correctly. Shiodome thought about that, too. Roppongi mentioned that for a happy person like Mayu shouldn't be riding Miracle Train.
Train's arrived to Roppongi. Mayu said goodbye, but Train guys are following her. They felt wrong for not doing anything for her, so they are going to follow her until arriving at meeting place. Mayu is happy to think so many handsome bodyguards protecting her. Then she saw an old man in trouble and was going to help him, but Shinjuku stopped her. Tsukishima said someone helped him, so she should feel ease.
They arrived outside and it's 5:55am. She's going to wait until appoint time. Shiodome mentioned that it's easy to get in trouble arriving too early. Tsukishima said that's why they are going to protect her from getting in trouble.
Roppongi is gorgeous? She never went to Roppongi Hills. Tsukishima, then, mentioned about Midtown. She said she didn't know (I didn't know about it, either, until I went to Japan this summer), and that it's their first time to date in Roppongi.
Roppongi asked if he knows that she waits pretty early every time. She said who knows? but he would run his best to be on time.
Everyone thinks she has no worries. She's going to call him and say not to rush. Then Roppongi, behind her, saw the empty screen of her cellphone while typing.
Then there's a kid who got balloon but got it flew away in the middle of the crossroad. She's going to get it, Roppongi's going to catch her but went through her arm! She cannot catch the balloon and disappeared when the truck hit her. She's fine.
There's a flashback, and same thing happened before she died waiting for her boyfriend. A girl got her balloon flew away. She got the balloon but got hit by a car.
Mayu just remembered it and the train guys are shocked. There's no way that they could help a dead soul, but Roppongi walked toward her and let her speak with Hideaki. He showed a miracle to her cellphone and his face is showing. Hideaki's running with flower and put it on the sidewalk. He got a phone call and it's from Mayu.
So she died 3 years ago. She said sorry to him that she couldn't wait for him. He's still thinking about marrying her. She said to him just enjoy the living life right now.
He saw her through the reflection of the building, and she kissed him on the cheek. Then she's gone.
For preview... it's done by Shasho and Tokugawa.

So now we have ghosts? I think anything is possible, now, and these guys could be the Matrix.
That aside, I thought it was well directed. I didn't even think she was a ghost until right before they made the reveal, when it was already obvious.
The magic pieces of Miracle Train really showed itself here in this episode, and although at first I didn't understand the whole "dead girl with a score to settle" thing at first (why Miracle Train?) the sweetness and moemoe parts overshadowed the logical part of this episode, so I really enjoyed it. Roppongi got to do a bit more talking too so I'm glad since he's my favorite character!
I haven't commented about this anime, but it is surprisingly very good. This episode was the best one of the series so far. Thumbs up from me! :) --- Randy
I was really waiting for an episode like this. I only started watching Miracle Train recently, and I went into it really not expecting anything much so I enjoyed it because I held a low standard of how the concept was going to be presented.
But the concept is good, and they REALLY should have had more episodes like this one. I can only hope that the 12th and 13th episodes live up to higer expectations too.
I really... even if I love the episode, I really would have liked to see some focus more on the Train Stations. Roppongi is giving hints that he is the 'main' protagonist, heck, he feels the most rounded. (At least to me). But I hope they focus more on the Stations THEMSELVES in the remaining two episodes.
At this point, if this were the last episode, this anime sadly tripped on it's face, and redeemed itself very little. :[ I can only hope it gets a little better plot-wise from here.
Other than that, THIS EPISODE was VERY good. Especially for the series, and make me sniffle a little, especially at the end. :[
it was so sad with Mayu! So unfair! Her and Hideaki should have gotten married 3 years ago! Damn SOB that hit her and did not try hard enough to avoid her! This like episode 2 of Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien. Mayu was such clumsy girl yet she wanted to help everyone she could to the point of being late to her meeting with Hideaki. Roppongi was great to have helped her. I guess even ghosts can be on the Miracle Train. Loved the scenery change how things change around Roppongi station over a 3 years period. This episode tops of the one with Tochou and that kid. Mayu another person I will not forget! This part was the most TT_TT Mayu.......
Still very depressing! Damn people who don't know how to drive of avoid accidents even in situations like Mayu was in.
That was episode was sad. I didn't realize she was a ghost until they just about revealed it. Maybe she kept reliving that day over and over with the people she helped.
How long would it take to earn 50 million yen, Karasawa? - Katsuya
No longer than it would take to get to the bank, provided I have a gun. -Karasawa
I'm through talking with you. -Katsuya
Wow this episode felt nothing like Miracle Train. It felt like a completely different anime.
Well directed. I never even suspected that she was dead.
Good episode. And that part where she pecks him ~

Wow, what a touching episode D; Miracle Train is really getting good lol :P
Mayu annoyed me at first but I slowly grew to like her :P She's so nice helping everyone along the way ... I somewhat suspected she was a ghost but I was still pretty surprised when they confirmed it. It was nice how she talked to her boyfriend again and they got to talk to each other. That kiss was really sweet :')
I would totally be jealous of Mayu walking around with such handsome bodyguards XD Also lol taking pictures of them for her sister? Ahahaha XD I think Shinjuku might actually be my favourite LOL ;P
Looks like things will begin to be revealed next episode, judging by the preview, at least. Hrm ...

Yes omg I was almost bawling....;__; At first, I thought it was her boyfriend that was dead, and she kept pretending that he was alive to fulfill their promise. Boy was I completely wrong! It's the opposite! I guess she was still on Earth as a ghost because she had regrets, and Miracle Train helped her out. Roppongi seems to be a mysterious character, he is also perceptive. Hm, two more episodes. Are they gonna explain what happened in episode 7? That one episode when the train was in some weird space?
Well, now I'm sad. ;_; Didn't cry but nearly did. My heart went like "thump thump sob sob"
I got spoiled on the twist because of Tumblr but this was still an unforgettable episode. Really good pacing. I liked the story. This show will stand at a solid 6 for me, and maybe even higher if the last two episodes go beyond.
Awww this was so touching. I never thought that Mayu was actually a ghost. His boyfriend love her so much tho. It's really sad that they didn't get married
