So my question to you is, what is the stupidest anime/manga related thing you have ever hear or read someone say? It can be from saying that moe is not sexually charged to saying Hideaki Anno is a good director to a fangirls squeal over Code Geass. ^Those two are ones I've heard by the way. |

| I'd say people who think they've learned Japanese from anime would be among the stupidest of fans. As I've said several times in the past, while it can be an aide, it is certainly nowhere near suitable enough to be the soul source of learning. So yeah, people saying they can learn Japanese from anime is definitely stupid. |

| The Gintama one and the Avatar one I don't get. Gintama is a good show. I wouldn't recommend it to just anyone, but it's not a bad show. Not watching it because a few retards are fans is pretty retarded yourself. And as far as people saying their favorite anime is Avatar, at least they're not saying their favorite anime is Naruto or some other sub-par show. The people got some ounce of taste, but they probably haven't been exposed to many other shows before. As far as America's sad attempts at anime go, we should be pretty darn proud of Avatar. Yaoi fangirls are my enemies. I hate it when they talk about their porn obsessions like it's no big deal. Because they're ANIMATED guys bumping uglies it doesn't count as porn you see. Disgusting. And I think there are few of such kinda idiots who think they can learn japanese by watching anime only. And here is another thing. Not everyone has english as his mother tongue and is as proficient in english as you. For those kinda guys,(eg. me) reading eng subs is much more comfortable than listening to eng dub. On topic, those kinda guys who say to fans of shows they dun like, something along these lines, "you still like those kinda shows, I feel sorry for your loss, I guess I grow out of it. :P".
