so, whenever i'm about to finish an anime that i really liked, it takes me like a whole month to bring myself watch the last episode. i mean, when i watch it, i just go on and on and on and watch the next episode as soon as i can, but when its the last one, i just dont feel like watching it.. maybe because i dont want to finish it, or maybe because i dont know what i will watch next.
do you guys do it too?

I did the same thing with Steins;gate, and the Soul Eater manga.

It's most likely your subconscious not wanting something so good to go away.Nothing to feel bad about,i say take your time.

Nope, never done it. At worst, I decide to make it the last thing I watch before going to bed, so I finish the day watching something I really enjoy one last time.

I don't do that. I actually like to watch the last two episodes of any anime at the same time, no matter how much I enjoyed it (unless it's airing).

i usually watch 6 episodes at a time, or more ( i watch it in bed before i go to sleep, so if i really like it i can stay up and watch half of the season without sleeping..) but when its the last episode ,i dont feel like watching anime in general..

No. If I'm closer to the end, I actually finish it faster than I would expect to. "Almost at the finish line!" is my motivation.

You're not the only one. In my case though, it was not after I've started the show, but more like before I even started watching. Shows that I know I would like, based on my research. I hate that feeling of emptiness after watching a series I like and I know it is gonna end.

same with Zeta Gundam, Eureka Seven and few other anime. the closer I am to the end the fast I watch

Yeah I used to do that a lot too nowadays I don't have the willpower to keep myself from watching that last episodes. I still stop at last 2 or so episodes but it only lasts a day at best. I just wanna see more.

Not really but I might hold off on watching the last couple episodes so that I can watch them all at once when the final episode comes out.

I do exactly the same things with a lot of anime, shows and drama.
It's too hard to finish something you really love so I just put it in pause for the eternity.
It's a way to believe that the story will never end :)

Now you have just mentioned Steins Gate. I remember wanting to drop this series, it was boring.

Back to the topic, I would easily forget after a few days if I missed out the last episode, therefore I will watch it all at once and then re-watch the episodes which I felt it was interesting or entertaining/sad to watch.

Hell no ;A;
It'd be torture for me, keeping the ending as a cliffhanger and dangling it infront of me with a string..

most anime get me more and more excited for the finally. I dont usually delay watching the last episode unless I'm like really affected by the idea of it ending and I dont want it to xD
oh and its typically with anime that dont really have a clear finally and kind of continue on through a manga afterwards.

I do it sometimes, though for me it's usually only max a few days. It does happen quite often though that if I marathon something, that I really like, that I save the last (or last 2) episode for the next day.

Also with some shows that I really enjoy do I have the annoying habit to keep postponing the next episode doesn't matter if it's the finale or not. For example I started watching Aria some time ago, but the last few weeks haven't I watch a single episode, simply because I enjoy it so much that it feels like a waste to watch it on a random afternoon. The same with the second season of Mushishi. The first season is even in my top 5, but I still haven't started with the second season, simply because I only want to watch it when I'm in the right mood.

I watch most of my anime on crunchyroll as it comes out. I do get a little anxious near the end of really good ones or even if something big happens at the end of an episode.

tbh i do the same thing hahaha xD

for example claymore, not the remake.. i watched it .. but at last 2 ep's i dont wanted to watch the end =/

sometimes i rlly like an history and dont wanna to know what will happen on the last ep because i got some problems to find another good one . I like to keep thinking about my own story lines .. its funnier, and painless.. because that will never end, will be alive on my heart <3

I don't postpone watching the last episode, but I do feel kinda sad that it's ending if I like the show.

I tend to power through the last episodes the quickest. They're the most connected episodes, and seeing them together one after another enhances the 'climatic' atmosphere.
