| I watched the first 3 episode and I guess it's ok, I really like the artstyle and animation, but OnS is just soo generic o.o It's like every edgy anime we had the last few years mixed together. Does it get more personality over time? Also there seems to be way too much going on, like we have vampires, a deadly virus, some unexplainend monster thingies and now demons and magic weapons... I wish this anime wouldn't try to be EVERYTHING at once. Would you recommend me to keep watching? |

Demons are in the weapons. They are what make them magic. And yeah, it has a lot of things going on, but they actually connect really well as you go along. Ofc, I can say this becuz I've read the 1st Volume of the LN and therefore know most of the things going on behind the scenes, but it will clear up and add up in the future. Idk if you should keep watching, as the animation and artwork is dropping and the moment as well as pointless(plot-wise) AO scenes, but you should definitely read the manga, |

| the first 3 episodes was the best episodes so if u don't like that u won't like the future episodes personally i like the show but it didn't live up to its potential so if u really don't like the first 3 don't bother…if u accept it for what it is u can enjoy this |

| To be honest, the series peaked really early and steadily got more bland as it went on. Couldn't get excited for the final battle of the season and simply felt meh about the whole thing. I'll probably still pick Season 2 up, if only to see if it gets better. |

| I bet this is already too late for me to respond, and you may have dropped it already, but I say continue the series. In my opinion (key word: OPINION) the show is really entertaining and that's what matters. It doesn't need you to think all psychological shiz to enjoy it. So I recommend to at least continue. Owari no Seraph got better as episodes continued. But hey, if you watch it, dislike it, and drop it, then that's your choice and I have no control over it. Anyways, have fun if you can. |
| Seeing you liked SnK then there is no reason to dislike this one since it has almost the same mood trough whole show. Except this show made more progress with the story in 12 episodes than SnK managed in 24. You should finish it or wait for season 2 and then watch it from the start. |

With a small break in between. I thought it was ok. It was mostly epilogue up until the end so it would be very easily for it to get much better in season 2 once they get all the players introduced. And those hating on the characters dont have basic comprehensive skills. Most animes are about reading between the lines and most people can't rap themselves into looking further than the surface. Hence all the ecchi moe and harem animes. Well, agree~ The first part is basically the introduction of the series, the characters and the situation they in hence we know that the season 2 might already deal up with the original story which (more battles, deaths ). So, I really don't have any complaints this whole season. I prefer it this way since we somehow able to know and understand each character rather than some anime that suddenly a character being thrown up and already some confusing scenes happening without us even knowing more about them and then THE END. Believe me but the introduction in this whole first part will be very useful especially in the 2nd part. It is more like the anime wanted us that " no one can understand what is happening in the 2nd cour without watching the 1st cour so go watch it ", like that. ^_^ |
