| Zetsu, Zetsu and Zetsu... SHUT THE FUCK UP!!! We can perfectly understand what's happening by ourselves, dimwit! In the manga this fight made a huge impact, but that was probably because we could skip reading a certain akatsukis comments. Here in the anime however, it became soo annoying that it killed the mood, at least for me! |
| So...I didn't like this episode. It was just excessive, while at the same time, being pretty devoid of content. I feel like this could have been added to last week's episode(s) for a bigger impact. I like the implications though: that Sasuke didn't really win, and that Itachi had planned this to some extent, but I'm being redundant from last week. Nice to see Orochimaru pop up, though. He's still one of my favorite characters. |

| WTF DID ITACHI SAID??!!! definitely an awesome episode, one of the best episode ever in shippuuden i must say... but damn i really wanna know what itachi said to sasuke, pretty sure a critial message. anyways, the next episode's titled seems promising, "the mystery of Tobi" hopefull it will answer alot question about this freak. |

| Kirin looked completely lame, poorly drawn, animated and rushed. I agree with the guy above that the soundtrack could be a bit better but it was ok. After Kirin things were a bit better...a good episode in overall. Itachi was the best, shame he had to die. |

| Wow..That episode just blew my mind. i kind of knew sooner or later that was going to happen (Itachi Dying), but never wanted it to. :\!! and wtf..Orochimaru coming back? then dying again? Lol he needs to just leave for good. -_- But anyway., Goodbye to one of the best characters in the show. and one of my fav's. :< but the next episode is about the Mystery of "Tobi" >.>. Haha can't wait for that. |

I was expecting better animation of Kirin cuz it was my favorite technique. Susano's animation was pretty cool. Shippuuden's soundtracks really bad compare previous season. Battles not giving the same feeling like before even thought they're cool. Poor Itachi... that was sad. That little snake's death was funny LoL. |

| Sasuke needs to use Kirin again in the future.. He was so lovely as he was running away from Itachi <33. It makes me sad to have to see Itachi die..again. But Sasuke finally did it. Even if he was already weakened the result is the same. ;) Rest in Peace Itachi. Cant wait to see "The Truth" again. |

| ... Really great episode (in my opinion, of course). I really enjoyed it. Didn't read this far in the manga so I can't really compare between the two, but I thought it was really well done! Can't wait to find out what Itachi's last words were... Also, I'm glad Orochimaru is FINALLY gone. (... He IS gone, right? That's what the point of showing that pathetic little wormy snake getting burnt up was, right? To show that he is actually dead for real?) I wonder if Sasuke will go after Itachi's eyes... Either way, they have to do something with Itachi's corpse, or other people are going to come after it. He was never my "favourite"... but I thought he was an awesome character. RIP Itachi. D: |

| Itachi...T^T It's quite heartbreaking to see both brothers fighting to death. Though it was clear that Itachi didn't/couldn't fight with his real strenght, but is still stronger than Sasuke. Somehow I've got the feeling that Sasuke wanted to die too now that he has achieved his goal and lost the reason of living. The blood running down from his eye made him look like he's crying... |

| Poor Itachi... I didn't want him to take Sasuke's eyes but i didn't want him to die either. At least he finally got rid of orochimaru for good. I was sick of even his presence still living there inside of Sasuke. |

| I hate to say it, but I found this fight to be very disappointing. I liked the use of Genjutsu's in the first couple of episodes but, I don't know, I just don't feel as though this lived up to the hype. What intrigued me, though, was Itachi's final actions. Particularly the almost affectionate, big brotherly tap on Sasuke's forehead. I'm thinking he was weakened before the battle even began, somehow. And, considering, I've always viewed him as one of the most dangerous Ninja in the series... I'm wondering if he threw the fight? Either way, I guess I wasn't completely spoiled regarding this fight. I don't think Sasuke really won. Don't know if that means Orochimaru is out of the picture. There is still Kabuto, I guess. But, I didn't like how that played out. Edit: Thinking about Zetsu said something about Itachi not using his full power or something. So, yeah, it seems he never intended to win. |
