Yes. If I really don't like the art or animation then I'm not going to force myself through it. |

Yes. I dropped K-On! because of this, and am close to dropping Cross Game for the same reason. |

Well GITS sac looks better than a lot of shows coming out now. |

I know that almost everyone seems to find it interesting, but there's so many other better looking Anime I would rather watch instead. That being said, Cowboy Bebop doesn't look half as bad as something as downright ugly as Bakemonogatari. |

Not ruin an anime but maybe reduce my enjoyment. It also makes me reluctant to start a show. Good example being what you just mentioned, Higurashi. It'll be hard for me to take a horror seriously with those character designs. |

It's like a feast for the eyes. |

AN ANIME WITH BAD ART CAN'T POSSIBLY BE CATEGORIZED AS A GOOD ANIME It doesn't matter how good the storyline might be or how well are the characters made. If you only care about those you'd better read the LN instead of watching the anime since the novel has much more details and it's better structured. What makes me want to watch the anime instead of reading the LN or also watch the anime after reading the novel, is the artwork. An anime can't be good if it doesn't have a good artwork. good plot + good artwork = great anime |

Giving an honest answer i don't really care about art too much, hell i'd watch stick men if the story is good enough. But is really nice to watch an anime that has good plot and a pleasent artstyle. Also i think some things might look "bad" but if the artstyle fits the setting then is all good (for me) i.e. Adventure Time. |

at the beginning of Bleach the art was shit. but now the newer episoes just look weird. I was also drunk for the first 120ish episodes of bleach so that could also be a contributing factor. |

As far as I'm concerned, if it is ruined it can't be good. But bad animation or poor art choices can definitely take away a varying degree of enjoyment depending on the focus of the show. |

Funnily enough, in One Piece this tends to bother me more when the characters are walking/running or having conversations than in fights. despite the fact that the art is ... in OP i think it really does fir the overall theme of the show, which is like an adventure tale from a book. On the other hand i found some "arguably" good art , really hard to look at or appreciate , JOJO's for example, its like seriously too sharp!!! also it makes me look out of shape >_> |
