| Wow, Robin getting frozen was intense. I'm looking forward to this arc, it seems like One Piece is finally getting serious. It'll be a nice change of pace, there's only so many idiots in the world they can fight, statistically there's got to be someone smart somewhere on the Grand Line. |

| I am excited about this arc. After filler or secondary arcs this seems very important and cool (literally cool!) !!! Aokiji is a real lazy badass XD A nice battle is on the way! And what about Luffy's grandpa??? Have we heard about him before???? It seems also like we are gonna find out Robin's past (hurray!!!!) and that the rest of the crew will bond even more to her (I loved it when Zoro, Sanji and Luffy defended her!!!). Yeah!!! |

| Damn. That went from 0 to 100 at lightening speed. Here I was thinking Aokiji was way too chill, and then he just goes and takes on the Monster Trio all at once. He's pretty OP. Definitely a difficult guy to figure out too...although it seems he only takes action when he really needs to, and since the Straw Hats are quickly building steam, it makes sense to take them out sooner rather than later! It was so weird seeing Robin all vulnerable and shaken since she hardly ever gets like that- she's like the collected and rational intellectual of the group. I'm beginning to wonder about her motives though & if she would betray the Straw Hats if someone stronger and more useful came along. I think that's what she's been doing so far anyway...joining different groups and as soon as they get beaten, she just joins the enemy to ensure survival. |

| Finally we’re back to the good old One Piece we’ve missed for the last 70 episodes and it’s glorious. Aokiji is quite interesting. He potentially caught Robin and let her go once in her past, leaving a mark on her that never left as seen by her absolute loss of composure! And moreover, he knows Luffy’s gramps, something that made Luffy sweat. The last point is he doesn’t seem evil. As a villain he stands out for that. Crocodile, Arlong, Khaladore, Wapol, Eneru, Don Krieg, Buggy, name any villain and they were normally quite one dimensional, or at least very simple, not that explored, and stood by some motto that would be disproved when they lost. Aokiji could still fit in that category but currently he doesn’t seem like he does, that leads me to believe the other Admirals may also be that way. Speaking of the other admirals, it seems we have a new class of antagonists our Straw Hats will have to beat. We already had the seven warlords of the sea- which to be fair we only know a couple of them and the Straw Hats haven’t even met more than Mihawk and Crocodile if I recall. On top of that we got the three Admirals and their big boss Sengoku. With how long this anime has gone on without having our characters meet half of these large glooming figures, I’m starting to definitely understand why it goes on so long. It was great to see the Straw Hats defend Robin from Aokiji like they did. It must have showed her how much they all care for her and it led to a moment I’ve been waiting for since she joined the team and we got to see her hostile relationship with Zoro. Zoro saved her! I’ve been waiting and it was so satisfying to see! You could tell she felt guilt, probably because she thought what Aokiji was saying was the truth. Aokiji’s power is insane. Alike Crocodile or Eneru he proves that if you have a good power you’re practically invincible unless you get countered specifically by a weakness. And guess what the weakness to ice is? FIRE, BABY! As soon as Luffy got frozen from punching him I realized that Ace will almost definitely come back into the story to burn this guy up. Of course they could always trick him and hit him with some sea prism stones, but we know that’ll never happen because only the bad guys use those. His power also shows that clearly he could not have frozen an ocean when he first ate the devil fruit and that he would have had to have trained his power to use it to the level he does, something that Crocodile brought up. I can’t wait to see how crazy the Straw Hats powers get as they improve them and find new ways to use them. That ice hug was brutal and Choppers line about them losing their frozen limbs was too real. This is crazy. In a good way. I wonder when the giant frog will play a role in the story LOL. |

| The Straw Hat Pirates' initial interaction with Aokiji was weirdly comical and they even helped each other out but seeing him casually freeze a whole section of the sea in mere seconds was a horrifying display of his power. Things went down south real bad when he changed his mind and watching him taking down their three strongest close-range fighters and freezing Nico's whole body without having much trouble was even scarier. I really hope that she'll be okay. Where's Fire Fist Ace when you need him... |

| This is peak one peice that I love Holy cow he OP. He basically took down the whole crew. He could be the strongest villain they have face yet. He seemed kind of cool at first. Very laid back. Also it was very interesting to see how the marines are set up with Robin little background. Additionally glad they mentioned Luffy grandpa. As someone who watched the live action show I know more of this hehe Finally really intrigued about Robin past with him. I wonder if this will finally be the Robin background arc |
